Justice League Watchtower
Monday, May 3

Five months after Darkseid's attempt to conquer the Earth came to pass. Much of what had been destroyed had been rebuilt while much more was still under progress.Out in the Earth's atmosphere, the Justice League's Watchtower was in orbit. Within the Watchtower many of the heroes could be seen speaking to one another or dealing with their own business.
At the Watchtower's bridge, the Martian Manhunter sat in front of a computer screen reading archives. From behind, the heroine, Huntress, approached J'onn.
"What are you doing, J'onn?" The Huntress asked, taking a glance at the screen. Martian Manhunter didn't shift his gaze from the screen, paying close attention to the file he came across.
"Going over some files, Helena. Nothing that important really." He replied, scrolling down more to go over more archives.
As J'onn tried accessing a file, his entry was denied. "Odd." The Martian muttered, frowning as he crossed his arms.
Huntress twilted her neck as she squinted her eyes to focus on the screen. "What's wrong?"
"This file in peculiar. Look." She closed in to see what he meant. Martian pointed to the file labeled 'Warstrom'. "That one?"
He nodded, confirming her question. "Yes, President Stallion declined the project. For whatever reasons, there's no reviews nor information about." Martian Manhunter explained. "That's what draws my attention."
"I can see the worry. But maybe you're worrying over nothing." Helena assured, patting J'onn's shoulder. "I'll see you around."
Huntress left Martian Manhunter, who hummed as got caught deep in thought. "Maybe, but something doesn't seem right."
Activating his earpiece, he got in touch with the Caped Crusader, Batman. "Bruce, find Clark and Ralph to meet with me soon."
Metropolis
Monday, May 3
6:47 p.m.
Over at the city of Metropolis, much of it was still under reconstruction since Darkseid's invasion started there.Superman, under his alias of Clark Kent, was making sure the Daily Planet's remodeling was in order. He dressed in a grey business suit and his glasses.
Along with him was his girlfriend, Lois Lane, the famous reporter of the Daily Planet. She was dressed in white shirt with a black jacket, a dark blue skirt, and a pair of high black heels.
"Can you believe it, Smallville? Five months since the attack." Lois said, sitting next to him. He chuckled, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to pull her close.
The couple sat in a chair while supervising the construction workers rebuilding the main office floor.
"I know, and a good thing too that he is never coming back." Clark assured Lois, remembering the moment he ended Darkseid's life.
He took a deep breath in as he looked at his watch. It was already time for everyone to stop their work. "Alright everyone, wrap it up. Tomorrow we continue."
Clark dismissed the workers, sending them off their homes. They started picking up the tools and materials to leave.
"Well." Lois yawned, hopping off the desk. "That wraps up today. Let's head back to the house." She grabbed Clark's hand to exit the place and head back to their place.
