An ankh-shaped portal opened in the lair inside Lex Luthor's mansion. Through it, Hawkgirl, Pistolera, and Killer Frost exited to be greeted by the Superman, Batman, Doctor Fate, Lex Luthor, and Huntress.

"From five that went, only three returned. Where's Humanite and Heat Wave?" The Dark Knight asked, noticing the mentioned villains were missing.

"And what about the man supposed to have be broughten here? Alvarez is the name, right?" Huntress added.

Hawkgirl sighed as she and the other two sat down on the chairs of the lair. "The plan went smooth as Humanite designed it." She began detailing. "We infiltrated the building with ease, took care of any guards along the way as stealthy we could."

"Well, until that chopper of theirs tried gunning us down in the higher levels." Pistolera said, remembering the helicopter that gave the team chase.

Hawkgirl nodded, confirming what the cowboy said was true. "Anyhow, we reached Alvarez's office to be expected by the Suicide Squad.

"From there, Heat Wave was devoured by Croc. Humanite was injured and decided to sacrifice himself to allow our escape."

"Then if I may be so bold, what of Alvarez? Why wasn't he extracted?" Doctor Fate asked in curiosity.

Killer Frost laughed as she was going to answer his question. "Ha! That douche fell down the stairs attempting to escape. So no businessman to interrogate."

Luthor chuckled, finding rather amusing the fate of Alvarez. "I think this bastard did us a favor, ridding us of his stupidity."

"Perhaps, but we could've obtained valuable information from him." The Man of Steel said, looking back at the arriving team. "You three rest up for you did good."

Hawkgirl, Pistolera, and Killer Frost nodded and headed upstairs to shower up and relax after the stressful mission. Superman remained in the lair with others.

"With two of the heads of Warstrom out, that leaves us with four." Superman declared to his allies as the monitor showed the remaining leaders.

"So I bet what's to be discussed is who we're going after this time?" Huntress had asked, assuming that's the topic to be spoken of.

The Man of Steel nodded, answering her question. "Indeed we are, Huntress. All we need to decided on who we target next."

With Superman's out loud thinking, the gathered heroes and Luthor observed the images of the remaining heads of Warstrom.

"To go after Richard Gaines at this point is hard. With him being the head, Waller is more likely to assume his position." Batman stated, crossing out the general as an option.

"And with that bitch playing an equally important and large as him, targeting her isn't the best of ideas at the moment." Luthor made the statement, removing Amanda Waller as another option.

They all stared at the two images that remained. "So it'll leave us to either Maxwell Lord or Theodore Castle." The Master of Sorcery said out loud.

"Both are greedy businessmen who've built their companies and amassed fortunes through propaganda, murder, and bribery." Superman declared as he stared closely at the bald man.
