Chapter 8: Fall of the Justice League

   Out in the atmosphere, several crafts were inbound towards the Watchtower. Martian Manhunter saw in the incoming ships from the bridge and activated the alarms. "Everyone, prepare to repel the attack."

   The heroes present prepared themselves throughout the station to retaliate the incoming attack.

   J'onn activated his intercom to communicate with Superman. "Clark, the Watchtower is under attack. Can you lend a hand?"

  "I'm afraid we can't, J'onn. We're under attack ourselves. Do the best you can." Superman managed to answer before the signal was lost.

   Martian Manhunter looked around the bridge to see Atom (Ryan Choi), S.T.R.I.P.E., Booster Gold, Vigilante (Greg Saunders), and a few others along with him.

   The sounds of explosions came from the hangar. "They're coming in through the hangar bay." Vigilante stated, arming himself with his revolvers. 

  "Then we best get ready." Martian steadied himself as the heroes at the bridge could hear gunshots and explosions down in the lower levels.

   Down in Metropolis, Superman and Grodd came to a truce to deal with the common enemy that's after their heads.

   Superman tore an android in half as he approached Batman. "Bruce, we aren't the only ones under attack. The Watchtower is under siege." The Man of Steel notified the Caped Crusader.

  "You know what that means, Clark, don't you?" Batman replied, tossing a batarang at a soldier.

   Superman sighed, nodding in understanding. "Yes, I do."

   Wonder Woman decapitated an android with her sword. She flew towards the duo to regroup. "It seems we are being hunted. But my question is why?"

   One of the Hyenas whined in fear as Killer Croc caught it and dug his hand into its neck. The reptilian grinned, snarling as he twisted its head and threw the body aside.

   The other Hyena howled as it charged towards Croc to avange the fallen one. Before it could reach him, Deadshot gunned it down.

   Gorilla Grodd used his telekinetic powers to mind-control a soldier, forcing him to snap his own neck. "Superman, any idea who these attackers are?" The gorilla asked the Man of Steel.

  "I'm afraid I don't, Grodd." Superman replied. Metallo ran towards the Kryptonian, who got weakened by his presence.

  "Oh, how I've waited for this moment, Superman." Metallo laughed, uppercutting the Man of Steel. The android stomped on Superman's chest, followed by a kick to his face.

   The Watchtower had been overrun by the same army attacking the heroes down at Metropolis. Heroes like Tasmanian Devil, Vixen, and others stood their ground at the hangar.

   A ship landed on the hangar, from which the assassin, Lady Vic, and other villains exited from.

  "What's Lady Vic, Black Manta, King Shark, Doctor Light, Bronze Tiger, Firefly, and Clock King doing here?" Vixen wondered, identifying some of the villains.

  "Also Blockbuster, Gemini, Electrocutioner, Baron Blitzkrieg, Shimmer, and Jinx?" Red Arrow identified the rest.

  "Whatever they're doing, we don't let them pass!" Geo-Force yelled, flying straight and knocking out two soldiers. He charged towards the group of villains, followed by Bloodwynd and Amazing Man.
