The President of the United States, Byron Stallion, sat in his office, a scowl look on his face as he watched the television reports.

"I made it clear, Richard, you son of a bitch. I denied your project. But why did you betray me like this?" He silently cursed, powering off the television and drank some run to relieve his stress.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of knocking from his door. "Come in." The President answered.

The door opened with his response, from which a blonde woman dressed in a blue suit jacket and skirt came in.

"President Stallion, sir. But the rest of your council have arrived." The woman stated, earning a nod from him.

"Thank you for notifying me, Jasmine. Allow them in." The woman moved aside, allowing seven more people to walk into the room.

All the people gathered had been summoned by the President himself to discuss urgent matters.

President Stallion cleared his throat as he looked at the gathered people. "Lady, gentlemen of my council, I thank you all for arriving to meet with me on such short notice." The President greeted.

"But there are pressing matters that need discussion. Please sit." He motioned for his council to take seats.

They sat down in the chairs provided for them as Byron Stallion stood up and walked towards the window.

He observed the outside, thinking of all the madness spreading across the globe.

"And what matters you're speaking about, Stallion?" A man in a general uniform asked. "By the look of things, I'd say it's very serious."

The President's gathering was composed of Vice President Steve Trevor, General Samuel Lane, Secretary Jasmine, and four Congressmen.

President Byron sighed as he formed a fist which he leaned on the window. "Have none of you watched the news? The world's hero community is being hunted down."

"General Richard Gaines is carrying out his Warstrom project after I specifically denied it." The President was clearly angry with the situation at hand, frowning as he pinched his brow.

"Oh, that." General Lane said in a casual tone along with a roll of his eyes. "Honestly, I don't care as much. Maybe he did us a favor in ridding the world of these so-called."

"Samuel, you idiot, those heroes have saved the world countless times. This was no way to pay back all their hard work." President Byron replied in anger, silencing the general.

Jasmine rose her hand to have a saying. "But wait. How did General Gaines find the resources to supply his army? Who could've possibly aided him?" She wondered, a doubt shared shared by the rest of the members.

"That's a question I don't know how to answer." The President sighed. "Clearly, Richard was smart enough to convince others and pull this stunt through."

Byron sighed once more, moving from his spot to face his council. "I want an immediate action to be made. I want a special force assembled to bring Richard down and stop this madness before more innocent lives pay the price."
