Untag sa'kin ni Francine na niyuyugyog pa ang balikat ko. "bahala ka na nga diyan! Wala na akong pakialam kung tatanggapin mo o hindi! Basta nasabi ko na ang gusto kong sabibin!" Inis niyang sabi sa'kin at hinayaan na ako.
"apology accepted." sabi ko sabay bangon at napatingin uli siya sa'kin. "basta wag mo ng uulitin." Dagdag ko pa.
"hindi na." Umiiling na sabi nito.
"Francine."
"what?"
"nothing."
"wag kang mang-inis ha, ang aga-aga pa." Babala nito sa'kin.
"let me. Ginalit mo ako kahapon kaya pasayahin mo'ko ngayon."
Tumitig lang siya sa'kin.
"ngumiti ka." Sabi ko.
"ayoko." Tanggi niya.
"why? Don't you have a teeth?"
"meron. Eh sa ayoko ko eh." Pakli nito sa'kin.
"bahala ka na nga." At umiwas na ako rito dahil nandiyan na si Riela.
Nagbatian ang dalawa at hinalikan nito sa pisngi si Francine.
Dumating na din ang guro namin at may in-announce.
"class we're having a school program ang every class in first subject must have a presentation." Ani ng guro. "class presentation." Talagang idiniin nito ang class at napansin kong si Francine ang tinitingnan nito.
"sir, pwede class representative na lang? Magulo kasi pag buong klase." Suhestiyon ng isa naming kaklase.
