This chapter is a bit boring, but I had to :(
The next will be better and I can say that this story will not be so long... I don't like very long stories, I prefer short and good :) Of course it will reach chapter 20 and beyond, so don't worry! I'll make things great, I hope :)

Now, the chapter!

(Olivia's POV)

-Please, I beg you... -she was desperate. I wanted to rip her head out of her neck, I wanted her to swallow those pages of the newspaper, I wanted her to die! But I couldn't hurt her, or else I would be in really bad hands. I came closer to her, my head exploding with anger.

-Why? -I asked, harshly. I saw tears in her eyes, tears filled with fear and regret.

-Since Richard came here, I... I always felt attracted to him. He's tall, gorgeous. He was the man I wanted. I got closer to Ian to get to know Richard better, we even played together in the snow, on that day he hit you with a snowball. -she spoke slowly. -But then Ian told me about you and Richard and I got so jealous... I wanted him for me! So I followed you all the time. I broke into your house, I took the pictures and payed the newspaper and the police to do the rest of the job... You don't know how bad I felt, knowing that he was there, sleeping in your place, in your bed, in your arms! You are the boss of this place, you are rich and powerful, you can have all the men you want! Why does it have to be just you? Why can't he choose me instead?! -she shouted, tears falling from her face. I kept my serious and mad position.

-Let me tell you something about what you just said. I was married for 10 years of my life. I didn't have many boyfriends in the past, but my husband was the one I always wanted to. I had everything, except a happy ending. He died, as my two children did too. -she looked shocked at me. I stayed still.

-I'm sorry, I, I didn't know!

-Shut up and listen! After his death, I could've run to so many other men that wanted me, had secret desires from me, even here in this office! But I didn't. You know why? Because it's about loyalty, self respect, and it's all a matter of waiting. I believe these are things you don't understand. I choose Richard for me because, after all these years, I finally saw a man I could share the rest of my days without worries. I have an advice for you, Amanda: don't hurry the time, don't always cry for a man. If men fell from the heavens, I could have my husband back. -I said, looking straight into her eyes all the time.

-I'm... sorry... -she mumbled, drying her tears with her fingers.

-One more thing. You're fired. Get out of my sight before I loose my head and throw you out of the window. Disappear of my life! And If you do this again... I will not have any mercy. -I said, holding her arm before she left. She took everything she could and left in a minute. I sat down on the chair and held my head in my hands. How could this happened...? Ian knocked the door and I sent him in.

-Here, Miss. It'll make you better. -he said, handing me a cup of warm tea. I drank a bit and sighed.

-Any news of Richard? -I asked, looking at him.

-None. -he said, in a sad tone.

-We have to go there, we need to get him out of there. Are you with me?

-Of course, Miss. -he said, smiling. I finished the tea and quickly made my way to the car. Then, I had an idea.

-Ian, do me a favour. Call my father and tell him everything that happened. If the police refuses to deal with me, then they will deal with the big boss.

(Richard's POV)

I had already answered all the questions they asked me. Those fucking handcuffs were hurting my wrists already and I was dying to get out of there. I was hungry and cold and I missed my Olivia... I was still there, locked in a room. Not a prison cell, but looked like it. Some minutes passed and I heard someone unlocking the door.

-Mr. Armitage, please. -the police said, holding my arm and guiding me to the same questionary room I've been before. When he opened the door, I saw the commander of the police, Ian and Olivia. She came to me, worried, a sad smile on her lips. I wanted to hold her, but my hands were useless.

-Are you alright? Did they hurt you? -she asked, touching my face and checking every part of my clothes and my body.

-I'm fine, love. It's ok. -I said, kissing her hand near my cheek. She smiled sadly again and gave me space to sit down next to the police.

-Well. Mr. Armitage here says he's innocent. Can you prove it? -the guy asked.

-Yes, sir. I was with him all the time and I guarantee that hurting me is the last thing he will do in this world. -she said with a secure tone.

-What about the written news? -he asked again.

-I already found the person who did this. She is probably on her way here. She did this all for jealousy and she suborn the news and you to do this.

-I'm sorry, Miss, we can assure you that no one payed us for this. -he said, making my nerves boil. Just when Olivia stepped forward to speak, the door opened.

-Well, gentleman. I will only say this once. I am old and grumpy, but I still own The Independent and they all call me boss. I demand you to release this man or else I will deliver this case to the special squad of the police. I don't know which of you was the biggest fool. The person who did this or you, being the police, who accept someone to pay you for this. What kind of law do you follow and practice? -he said, smiling. Olivia walked next to him and smiled to him. I already knew who he was. Her father, Mr. Rogers. The police didn't say a word and the guys released me. We took care of some papers about Amanda and it took us some two more hours there. I was dying to go home, take a shower, eat and sleep.

-Everything is fine now. You may go home and rest. -Mr. Rogers said, hugging Olivia. Then she turned to me and smiled.

-Father, let me introduce you Richard Armitage. The best writer in The Independent. Oh, and my boyfriend as well. -she said, making us all laugh.

-Pleasure to meet you, Sir. Not in the best circumstances. -I said, laughing.

-Don't worry about that son. Go home, Olivia will take care of you. -he said, leading us out of the police station.

-Thank you so much father... -she said, holding his hands.

-My one and only daughter deserve the best for her and her man. Go, have a good rest. -he said, entering his car. I hugged Olivia in my arms. It felt so good to be with her again.

-I was afraid, Richard. For you... -she said, covering her face near my chest.

-It's ok... I'm here now, the problem is solved. Now: your place or mine?
