One of my favorite chapters ever... ♥ ♡ ❤

(Olivia's POV)

-God damn it... -I said to myself after washing my face in the bathroom. My baby decided to make me feel really sick that morning and I threw up all the breakfast I had eaten a few minutes before.

-No way we are going out today. You need to rest, stay in bed, drink tea... -Richard said, touching my face softly.

-I'm fine, it's just morning sickness. Come on, my love, we have so many beautiful places to visit yet! –I said, trying to look as healthy and good as possible to convince him to go out and explore the surroundings of Amsterdam. He sighed and brought me into a hug. I felt so protected between his arms, while my ear was pressed against his chest and his heartbeat making me feel relaxed.

-I just want you to be ok, Livy. Try to eat some light food now and, only after that, we'll see if you're good to go. Deal? –he said, kissing my forehead.

-Deal, Mr. Worried. –I said, smiling at him. After eating an apple, some bread and a delicious tea, I was feeling perfectly fine. My energy had returned to my body and I couldn't wait to go out and visit more places of the beautiful country we were in! We took a train that time. We were going to Zaanse Schans, a countryside location in the Netherlands. Richard had a map in his hands and he had everything in mind.

-But what is this place about, exactly? –I asked, taking the map from his hands and searching for the name of that place.

-Well, it's a place where we can visit craft stores, windmills, chocolate and cheese factories... Things like that. I think it'll be fun, don't you? –he said, looking at me, searching for an answer.

-Did you just say «Chocolate factory»?! Man, it's going to be more than fun! I'm really needing some chocolate now... -I said, touching my belly. He followed my hand and touched my little bumpy stomach, which made him smile like a boy.

-Pregnancy desires, hun?

-Terrible one this morning. Chocolate, I just want chocolate. –I said, laughing. After a nice trip by train, in the middle of green fields and tall trees, we arrived at Zaanse Schans. The fist thing I notice was the beautiful reflection of the morning sun in the river that flowed nearby. The windmills were bigger than I ever thought and they had so many different colours. It made me feel so happy and thrilled. There were a group of people there waiting for the guide to come, so we joined them too. We walked slowly through those houses and windmills and I felt like I was inside a story or even a fairy tale! Richard was taking pictures of everything, from the biggest windmill, to the smallest flower on the ground. Then, we entered one of the craft stores and we saw their traditional shoes and how they were made.

-Unbelievable, isn't it? How they made everything without technology. –Richard said, smiling at the amazing woodcraft in front of us.

-I wish I could go back at that time, where everyone lived in peace, without smartphones and internet. Can we go back? –I said, laughing. Of course I had to buy a pair of those clogs. I bought ones for me and another for Richard's mom. When we all walked out of the store, Richard was still inside. I waited no more than two minutes for him and he came to me with another bag in his hands.

-Did you buy one pair for you too? –I asked, laughing. He giggled, but blushed at the same time.

-I bought a little pair, for kids, you know? –he answered, taking my hand and moving on.
