Do you know what was the hardest part to write in this whole story? The words "The End". It's so, so, so hard for me not to burst into crying like a baby, believe me! This story is part of my life and I will miss every single moment I lived with it. I'll miss Olivia and The Independent. I will also miss the horses, cats, flowers, champagne, strawberries, Sophie, Ian, Dr. Evans. I'll miss Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Keukenhof and all those romantic places in The Netherlands. But, most of all, I will miss Richard in this story, especially. I lived every moment like I was Olivia and I travelled inside this story so badly and deeply that, now, it's hard to return to reality.
Now, I have many thanks to do. First of all, and most importantly, I want to thank Marianne Zoer. You see, we don't know each other personally, but we became connected because of this story. She helped me when Richard and Olivia travelled to The Netherlands and I had to choose the locations they were going to visit. She also helped me in their comments she left in every chapter. It only gave me more strength to continue this story until the end of it. So, Marianne, thank you so much for everything. It meant a lot to me. Still in the first place, I also want to thank my awesome boyfriend who helped me so much to improve my English skills so I could write this. He always believed I would be able to write something good, so I guess I achieved it. Thank you, my boo! <3
Secondly, I want to thank the rest of you who voted and read all the chapters. Because of you, I now have more than 2K of views. That is something I wouldn't believe I could achieve, last year.
Last, but not the least, I want to thank you ALL for your patience and love. Even when I took longer than a week to post a new chapter you guys were always there. I never wished for this story to win a price or a competition or anything. But, because I have the best followers I could wish for, I'm already fullfilled.
I'll leave this story with a smile on my lips and a heart full of amazing memories and so much love. I wish I could pack my things and travel to Amsterdam right now, so I could live there happily ever after! Hahaha, I'm just being silly, but it's a dream in my bucket list.
This is not a goodbye, I believe this is more like a "See you later". Now that this story is finished, I hope you guys don't abandon me forever, because I have two new projects I would love to post here. And, when I do, I hope you will be there ;)
Thank you so, so, sooooooooooooooooooooooo much for everything. One last thing I want to ask you. If one day you forget about this story, don't forget about its message:
It doesn't matter who you are, but the power you have to change someone's life. ♥
