The picture above is the main idea for the twins room! Except for the little triangle flags that I changed for small lights inside paper balls. And, of course, there is another crib because they are twins, right?

Well, enjoy the chapter and I hope you like it!!

(Olivia's POV)

Sunday morning, me and my husband were already working. I was cutting the shape of the tree in white wallpaper. On top of the table, I also had pieces of wallpaper in yellow, blue and grey for the koalas. On the other side of the garage, Richard was building only one crib, studying through his images from the internet. Music was playing low on the radio and we had our animals running free in the yard. I felt totally at peace with myself. It was great to be doing things we enjoyed the most. I took the scissors and I cut the tree carefully.

-So, baby. How's it going? –I asked, still looking at the paper.

-Great. I think I can perfectly build this until it's done. Then, we must buy their beds and pillows and all that. But I want to get their cribs ready today, if possible. –he said, as he tightened a screw in one of the holes of the unfinished crib.

-Don't get too tired, ok? We have time to get this done. I can give us a day off tomorrow if you want. –I said, cutting the branches carefully with the scissors. He turned his head to me and looked widened.

-Can you do that, really? –he asked. I laughed about his cuteness and laid down the scissors.

-Yes, there is no problem. –I answered, smiling at him. He came to me, running in short steps and kissed me.

-Thank you, thank you my love. –he said, kissing my cheeks, nose, forehead, chin. Kisses and more kisses and I couldn't stop laughing.

-All right, all right, I got it! –I tried to say, while his lips were constantly kissing my face. He calmed down and got back to his work. He sang together, we danced, ate lunch, got back to work. We painted, glued, shaped, cleaned, fixed... Besides my work at the office, that was the most productive day I've had. We did so much and it was only afternoon yet. Richard finished the cribs and we placed them side by side in their room. The light grey wall was amazing and ready to stick the white tree on. Since I couldn't get down on my knees because my belly was already big enough, Richard started to put the tree from the bottom to the top. Little by little, we fished every branch, leaves and koalas, pressing with our hands so the paper doesn't come out easily. I stepped back a little and my heart melted. The result was more than I expected, it was cute, tender, sweet... The combination of the grey wall and the white tree, followed by the leaves in yellow and blue, finishing with baby koalas with smiling faces, was perfect.

-Wow... I love it! –Richard said, pulling me into a hug. The room was halfway through and it made me chills. My husband noticed I was a bit tense, so he looked concerned at me. His arms surrounding my body, making me feel protected.

-You like it, right? –he asked, begging for my answer.

-Of course, I love it. But... Time is flying, they are coming home in a few months and... -I said, looking at the decorated wall. I felt his warm, soft fingers rest on my chin and turn my head towards his face.

-Nothing will harm you or the twins as long as I'm here, ok? I told you before. I will be there with you at the hospital and I will never leave you until we pack our things and bring the babies home. Come on, Miss Rogers Armitage. Where is my smiley wife? –he asked, smiling tenderly at me. It made me blush and he laughed, hugging me again.
