Last chapter of 2015!!!

I hope you like it! There is a (bad) surprise coming, I'm really sorry! But we all know that the good stories must have bad times too, so they can be happy again! I promise this "small problem" will be very short, I promise!

Now, the chapter!

(Richard's POV)

That night, I dreamt of white. Only white around me and a fresh air that smelled like the sea. The white lights started to fade, little my little, and I saw a beach. Golden sand, small waves breaking into foam. I heard a dog hound and I looked into my right side. It was a medium size Husky, running fast. Then, I saw a girl about 5 years old, with long brown hair, chasing the dog. She was smiling, but her face and body were tired of so much running. Pale skin and rosy lips. Blue eyes, like two crystals in the most beautiful tone of blue that could ever exist. She stopped running and held her hands on her knees. Breathing hard, she stared at the dog a few inches away from her.

-Mommy, he's so fast! I can't catch him! –she shouted, looking behind. I kept staring at each movement of that little girl, but something distracted me. A laugh I know so well, entered into my ears and I looked for it. Olivia was there, riding Romeo, her horse, with a boy sitting in front of her. His face was exactly like the little girl. The eyes, the same shape of the lips, the same hair color, the same pointy nose... I wondered why he looked so sad. Tons of questions flowed in my head. Why was Olivia there? The little girl, Autumn I assume, ran to Olivia and started to pull the boy's feet a bit.

-Come on, James! Let's play together, you can do it, I know you can! –she said, her smile was full of hope. James Tyler, my boy, sighed and let his head fall to Olivia's chest.

-Autumn, dear. You know your brother can't walk. –my wife said, with a sad smile. He couldn't walk?! How? Please God, let that not be the future I was seeing in my dream! It couldn't be true!

-But it's been so long mommy, maybe he can walk now! –Autumn kept saying, smiling. Olivia looked sad and stared at our daughter for a while.

-James has a problem, sweety. He will never be able to walk by his own foot... But we will help him, right princess? He will never be alone in this journey. –she said, smiling at both of them. Carefully, and with Olivia's help, Autumn climbed into Romeo's back too, and they rode slowly in the sand.

-Did you hear mommy, James? I'm here, mom's here, dad's with us to. You'll never be alone!

-I know, Autumn... I'm happy I'm not alone... -he said, smiling sadly at them. Why wasn't he able to walk? What kind of disease he had? Sweating like a pig, I woke up just right at that moment of the dream. I tried not to wake my wife by my side and I got up. James and Autumn were still in my head. I didn't want to believe that was our future, It just couldn't... I looked at the clock and I realized that it was almost time to get up and get ready to work, so I walked to the kitchen and started to make some breakfast. However, my heart was beating fast and my hands were still shaking. That wasn't the future I always wanted for my children...

Olivia woke up, we had breakfast together and then we moved to work, after our honeymoon break. I didn't tell her anything about my dream, because I didn't want her to be worried about our kids. I had faith and I was sure destiny had better things for my family. God would help me. It was amazing to be back on my desk. Ian was quite happy with my arrival, since I'm his best friend in and outside the office. From the moment we arrived and sat down to work, Olivia didn't visit me or call me. I knew she would be very busy, trying to correct mistakes and making things right. She was the best boss ever, believe me. So mean, but so respectful. The lunch time came, so I got up and walked to her office. After knocking two times, I entered.
