I can't find word to describe how emotional I am with this story... Enjoy this chapter! :)

(Olivia's POV)

The best day of my life was when I had both of my babies with me, next to my chest, sleeping like two angels. Of course I was happy when they were both born, but I didn't rest until James was fine. Richard slept there with me every night. He wouldn't leave us for any reason and that just left me more emotional than I was. Our families and close friends came to see us during the week we had to stay there. Everyone was so happy to see the babies and it filled my heart. Of course I was still a lot tired, but I did everything I could for my babies, even when they wake me up at 3am. Richard was so funny with them. He wanted to show me he could take care of them, but he was so scared to do something wrong. Every time he would pick them up, he looked so frightened of letting them fall or making them cry. I had to teach him, but sometimes it was just too funny and laughs would take care of me. About changing diapers? Oh man, he was a mess! All the crazy faces he did when he changed a diaper with poo just made me cry with laughing, so hard. Beside his silly way, he was amazing. When I was breastfeeding James, he would hold Autumn and hum a simple song to calm her down a bit. It melted my heart to see the way she looked at him, her eyes sparkling with his. She was discovering someone new, her father. He was falling in love with his little daughter.

Finally, when day, the doctor came with the most happy announcement. We could go home. Autumn and James Tyler, besides the short pregnancy period, they were fine. Of course we would bring them back if there was something wrong, but I was dying to get my babies home. Richard helped me get dressed, since I was still a bit weak.

-I can't believe we're going home with them... -he said, adjusting my jacket on. I searched for his blue eyes and they were teary.

-Everything we ever dreamed of, right? –I added, rubbing my thumb in his bearded cheek. He kissed my wrist and smiled back at me.

-Right... Now, let's get our babies and go home. –he said, grabbing my hand gently. We walked to the cribs and picked them up gently. I held James and Richard held Autumn. Matt, his cousin, helped us with the car. He and Richard's mother bought the two Maxi Cosi for the back seats and it was great for us, so we wouldn't have to worry about another thing. When we were walking to the outside of the hospital, I spotted someone. Amanda was sitting in a chair and she got up when she saw us. Richard automatically held Autumn closer to his chest and stepped forward.

-What are you doing here? I told you to stay away from us, didn't I?! –he protested, raising his voice a bit. I touched his shoulder and looked at him.

-Let me speak to her, honey. –I said, smiling. He stared at me, shocked. Slowly, he stepped back a bit, without taking his eyes off us. I looked at Amanda and she had a sad look in her eyes. I remembered when Richard told me she was pregnant, but I looked down and I saw no big belly. She then broke the silence.

-I wanted to apologize... No, I'm not pregnant, as you can see. I was so lost in revenge and hatred that I totally lost my mind. –she explained, looking down at the floor.

-You gain nothing with revenge, you know that. Apologies accepted. Still, don't come any closer to us, ok? –I said, looking at her. She smiled at me and nodded. Poor creature. She stared at James a bit, but I held him closer to me, covering his face more with the blanket. She smiled at me again and said goodbye. Richard came to me right away.

-You forgave her? How? –he asked, looking confused.

-You know... We have no need for enemies. She was being honest, so I accepted her apologies. Believe me, she won't threaten us again. I know so. –I said, smiling at him. He was still a bit confused, but we moved on. We set the babies carefully on the back seat of the car and I sat down in the middle of them. I looked back at the hospital through the window, feeling relieved. I thanked God so much for that moment. I was going home with my children, after so many years.

(Richard's POV)

When I walked inside the living room, all the lights were shut down. Then, in a blink of an eye, the lights turned on and I saw my family, Olivia's family, Ian, Evans and Sophie there. There were balloons everywhere, the table was filled with cakes, juices and all the types of candy. There were also a lot of presents on the couch and tiny decorations everywhere. Yellow, blue, pink and green were the colours that popped out in our white living room.

-Surprise mom and dad! –they all said, however, not in a loud tone. They knew the babies would be sleeping for sure and they guessed it. I couldn't believe in my eyes. That was so loving and cute, I never thought they would prepare all this for us. Olivia started to laugh with tears in her eyes. Our families came to hug us and congratulate us once more. «Thank you» was not enough. I was overjoyed with that surprise. Of course the babies woke up with the noise, but they were quite curious about all those people around them. We sat on the couch with everyone around us. All eyes were set on our beautiful twins. It was impossible not to fall in love with them. They looked exactly the same. Blue eyes, like mines and Olivia's, and dark hair. Of course they would change along the years, but they were identical twins, which was something even cuter. I looked at Olivia and she smiled at me. I remembered the day we first met, we first made love in that living room. I remembered our wedding, honeymoon, bike rides in Amsterdam. I remembered Amanda and the police, I remembered when I first saw my wife behind that desk in her office, without even guessing I would be there holding our newborn babies. Of course, we end up on leaving all the emotions behind and we enjoyed all the food they prepared for us that afternoon. Autumn fell asleep as soon as Olivia finished her feeding. James, on the other hand, stayed awake and curious. She wanted to see everything and listen to everyone. Of course, for a baby with one week, all he wanted to do was eat and sleep, but still, he was very active all the time. He was a miracle, our blessing. The way I saw him, almost dying in my arms, and how he was recovering so well. Of course he couldn't contain himself and he fell asleep too. We had a little camera installed in each of their cribs that were connected to our laptop. If they cried or wake up we could see everything from the living room. Olivia was worried with them all the time, but they were sleeping like two angels that it was a shame to be staring at them all the time and bothering their long and sweet sleep. Our families and friends stayed at home for a little longer and, when they left, we moved upstairs quickly. As we already knew, they were sleeping. It filled my heart with joy to watch them there, lying in the cribs I made for them, in the room we both built for them. Finally, they were home.

-I have to admit, I miss them in my belly. –Olivia said, breaking the silence. I giggled softly, holding her hand.

-Really? Look, they are sleeping so well. I think we should do the same... In our perfectly big bed. –I looked for her eyes and they were sparkling in a way I've never seen before. My hand flew to her cheek and I joined my lips with hers. And I knew, what a lucky man I was.

This fanfiction is part of my life and I am very proud of what I did until now. I'm sad to inform that the next chapter is the final chapter of this story... I have so many tales, moments, episodes I would love to write about the kids and Richard's future as a dad and Olivia as a mom, but I know I have to end this now... One thing I assure you: the final chapter is going to be quite surprising and beautiful. I hope you like it! See you soon :')
