The reason why I chose this dress for Olivia is because it's gorgeous, elegant and it's everything about her. She's not a 20 year old anymore, so a sexier and bolder dress wouldn't fit so perfectly like this one does. I hope you love it like I do! :)
Enjoy the chapter!
NOTE: The wedding is very close. I'm planning to write the wedding's eve on the next chapter, so I can finally write the most beautiful ceremony of the year! Haha :)
(Richard's POV)
Olivia was going to meet with her father and some close friends of hers to see her wedding dress for the first time, after designing it carefully and sending it to a fashion design center.
-Am I really going to spend a whole day without you? –I said, pulling her waist and sitting her down on the bed next to me. I was still under the covers while she was almost ready and fully dressed. She laughed and tickled my full beard.
-As soon as you notice, I will be back home. I promise I will try to avoid any necessary talking. –she said, coming closer and kissing my lips softly.
-Be careful, ok? –I whispered near her lips.
-Always. What are you going to do the whole day? –she said, getting up and searching for some jewelry in her jewel box. I got up and stretched my muscles a bit. Put some trousers on and followed her to the closet.
-I don't know. Since it's Sunday, I may call Ian and try to have a coffee with him. I'll see if I'll work a bit. –I said, looking for a comfy sweater on my side of the closet. She came behind me and hugged my naked torso.
-Our baby is growing... -she whispered, as simple as that. I turned around and faced her soft blushed face.
-Is he? Do you feel a difference? –I asked. She took my hand and placed it in her belly.
-I do. I know you can't feel anything yet, but he can feel the warmth of our hands touching him... -she whispered again. I went down on my knees and lifted her blouse. She instantly started to laugh. I kissed her belly a few centimetres under her belly button and she felt some tickles, of course.
-Daddy loves you so much... Daddy also can't wait to pull you out of there. –I said, kissing her belly again and getting up. She laughed behind me while I put my clothes on.
-Pulling him out of here? What are you talking about? –she said, still laughing. We made ourselves downstairs and ate some chocolate cereal with fresh fruits Sophie brought from the market.
-Well, do you think I will be just waiting for the baby outside the labor room? Hell no! I want to be there, I want to see everything from the beginning to the end. –I said, smiling. She looked absolutely scared and terrified, which made me burst with laughing.
-Are you even serious? –she asked, still a little shocked. I nodded and kissed her nose softly.
-All right, you do what you wish. But I will not be responsible if you faint in the first second you see his head coming out. –she said, laughing. That made me think. I really wanted to be there in the labor, but would I be strong enough for that? Men usually don't like those kind of stuff, but... Anyways, it was too early to think about that.
-Now. My super-man-who-wants-to-do-his-baby-labor-for-himself, I have to go. Will you be alright here? –she said, making me laugh. I nodded softly and grabbed her waist, pulling her to me.
-Have fun, my gorgeous bride. –I said, kissing her lips goodbye, before she left the house. The next thing I did was check on the animals. Kasimir, Theodor and Mirtle were starving for breakfast. Then, me and Sophie checked the horses and I set them loose a bit, so they could run in the backyard for some hours. When I noticed, the clock was already marking 1pm, so I started to make some lunch for me. Turkey beefs with veggies and rice. The simple, the better. While I was eating, I opened my laptop to see what was going on. Then, I had the brilliant idea to type «Baby labor» on YouTube...
(Olivia's POV)
-So, do you have everything ready for your wedding ceremony? –Alexia, my fashion designer and a very-long friend, asked, while styling my dress in my back, taking some final arrangements with pin ups.
-Almost, yes. I already have some decorations that will be shared with the ones from the venue, the invitations are all delivered and I'm currently doing the regards for the guests! –I said, touching my belly softly, so she wouldn't notice. My dad and two of my closest friends were waiting outside for me, to finally see me in my bridal dress. I was excited because I didn't have any mirrors in that room, so I could only see my dress from my chest down and, of course, my arms.
-That sounds great! And how is it like to be living this all over again? –she asked, placing her hands on my shoulders and looking at me in the eyes. I sighed and looked away for some seconds.
-It's... thrilling. Richard is totally different from William, so much better in everything. You know that it's impossible to forget a marriage of almost 10 years, but Richard is just... The man of my life. –I said, looking at her. She smiled at me and kissed my forehead.
-I wish you all the best happiness you can have in this life, my dear friend. For you and Richard, of course. Now, shall we go out and show you to everyone? I bet they are dying of waiting! –she said, laughing. I took a deep breath and nodded. She opened the door and said: «Here comes your bride!» I could only see their faces. My father made a quick check on me, before taking off his handkerchief from his pocket and covered his eyes. My big old man was crying! My friends covered their mouths and I could only hear «Oh my God, oh my God!». I stepped into a thick wooden step and turned around to face myself in the mirror. Long, white pearled dress, made out of a soft shiny fabric. A heart neckline, gracefully covered by a thin layer of lace, wrapping my arms until my elbows in tight and gorgeous sleeves. All the lace was filled with diamonds and tiny little pearls, giving the dress the perfect harmony and elegance. On the bottom, a wonderful embroidery work in a nude tone, also covered with some diamonds. All the dress was perfectly balanced in what came to sparkle and empty areas. Everything was so well designed that it almost made me faint.
-I still have to sew the zipper on the back and check for some imperfections and it's officially done! What do you think? –she asked, smiling behind me. I couldn't say how beautiful and elegant that dress was, I simply couldn't.
-I-I don't really know what to say... It's simple, but gorgeous. Elegant in its own way, so perfect... I mean, It's my dress. Everything in it reflects me. I don't know how to thank you, Alexia, you did an amazing job! –I said, feeling tears in my eyes. I hugged her so tightly next to me. I knew I couldn't have asked for a better person to do this job for me. I turned around and faced a loving father, smiling at me and crying at the same time. I stepped down and walked into his arms. He hugged me and cried on my shoulder.
-My princess... You look stunning, Olivia. –he said, releasing the hug. I dried my tears too, and my friends laughed. I hugged them and then, I came back to the mirror. I had to stare into my wedding dress for some more minutes, because I could only wear it again on my wedding day. After we discussed about the veil, shoes, hair, makeup and everything, we finally left her store. The night was falling already and dinner time would be there in some minutes, so I got in my car and made my way home. To my man's arms again, at last.
