**Liviana's POV**"So what happened at the mall?" Christian asks.
"Seriously?" Ransom asks with a mouth full of pasta.
"What? I want to know." Christian says back. Ransom just shakes his head at him and looks at me.
"Do you want to tell them?" He asks in my mind.
"Yeah, if we don't now, I don't think we ever will." I say back, then I turn to everyone, looking at us with curiosity.
"You know how we came here because my uncle was trying to hurt me?" I ask first and they all nod their heads. "Well, he found out I'm in the human world and now he sent trackers out to find me. That's what my grandmother was talking to me about." I look away and continue eating without looking back up. Ransom places his hand on mine and rubs it gentle. I look at him and he smiles at me, causing me to smile back at him. Whenever he smiles at me, it's infectious.
"So what's the plan?" Christopher asks, looking from me to Ransom.
"We wait until the trackers come, and when they do, we kill them. There's nothing we can really do." Ransom says in a sad voice. I nod, hating that we can't do anything right now. I've seen trackers only a few times in my life, but I know that they are ruthless and won't let anything stop them from accomplishing their goal. They would kill anyone if they got in their way.
"What are trackers?" Diamond asks. I turn to her and see that she has a confused face on, as do Avangolina and Alicia.
"I forgot, you guys didn't grow up in Hell. Trackers are like police dogs, but they won't stop until their tasks is complete. If someone stands in their way, they will kill them without a moment's hesitation." I say, looking at the girls. "You guys should be careful. If you see a tracker coming towards me, don't try to stop it. It won't hesitate to kill you. I would die if something happened to you guys because of me. You either boys." I say pointing to all of them.
"I'm not going to stand around if a tracker is trying to kill you." Ransom says in an angry voice. "I am still your bodyguard and I won't let anything happen to you." I look at him and squeeze his hand.
"I know you want to protect me, but please. I don't want you to be hurt on my behalf. I would be crushed if anything happened to you." I say in a choked voice, feeling tears come to my eyes when I think of my life without Ransom.
"Liviana, I am a hellhound. A tracker has nothing on me. I am your bodyguard and nothing will stop me from protecting you." He says, staring me in the eye, daring me to argue with him. But I don't, it wouldn't help with anything.
"Fine. But you girls stay away from them. These guys have a little bit of training to deal with them and so do I. But you guys need to be careful, you're close to me so if the trackers find you, they will use you to find me." I tell them and they all have fear in their eyes but are trying to hide it.
"Liv, I am part hellhound you know." Alicia says.
"Yes, but have you ever gone against a tracker?" I ask
"Alright, you win, but if a tracker comes after me, I'm going to ninja kick it as far as I can." She says with a slight smile, causing us all to laugh.
"Okay, deal. Now let's stop talking about this because it is really depressing." I say as
I take a sip of my drink. We all finish eating our food and we all clean up together. The girls and Christopher leave since we have school tomorrow. Christian heads off to bed shortly after they leave and Ransom and I decide to watch a movie in the living room. Ransom lays on the couch and I lay in front of him with his arm draped across my waist.
