When I finally composed myself enough to look away from Ransom's dazzling eyes, I was able to comprehend what he had said. I tried to come up with a smart remark, but came up short.

"Are you going to go swimming with your pants on?" As soon as the words left my mouth, I instantly regretted them. He's probably going to think that I want to see him without clothes on. Well you do, my mind told me.

Ransom grinned devilishly at me, a grin that would make Satan himself melt right in his spot. "Don't worry Liv, you will get to see all of me tonight." He finished of with a wink. My eyes widen at what he may be implying. He knows the rules. He has a book of conduct from the Castle Training Center that we we're required to memorize.

"Umm, Ransom, what are you talking about?" I tread carefully, as not to encourage him anymore.

"Calm down Liv, I'm just pulling your wing." He smirks, and I can see him start to get better control of himself as his face becomes more composed. "Now are we going swimming or not? It's getting late."

"Well if you hadn't tried to scare the life out of me, we would have more time." I snap, he just laughs his wonderful laugh. It's a gorgeous sound.

"Then let's go swimming, princess." He says with a smirk. He steps back and goes to unbutton his jeans. I almost ask what he is doing but it's kind of obvious. He can't go swimming in his jeans. He steps out of his jeans and tosses them with my clothes. Then he takes off his shoes and socks, and they follow his jeans.

"Well? Come on Liv, we only have an hour before you need to be in the dining room with your father." Ransom says in his professional voice.

"Yes, master, I promise to obey all your wishes and commands." I say and fake curtsy. I immediately regret it as I see his eyes darken.

"I'll remember that, princess." He says, his is voice deep and raspy. I look away before I can blush more.

Before he can say anything else I turn away completely and pull my wings fully in. I hear Ransom breath in through his teeth when he sees my bare back. But before he can do anything about it, I jump into the lake. I break the surface a minute later, and I hear Ransom laughing.

"Liviana, you are going to be the death of me." I tilt my head, not fully understanding. But before I can think about it too much, Ransom jumps into the water right next to me. He causes a massive splash, sending a ton of water into my face. It takes me awhile to right myself, but when I do, I am rewarded with the sight of Ransom pulling himself onto the rock on the edge of the lake. His biceps ripple as he uses his arms to get on top of the rock. I can see his full body from here. He is all muscle everywhere, not an ounce of fat on him. I can't take my eyes away from his chest. It's like a statue of the mythical gods, just amazing. Then I notice the bulge in his boxer. My eyes widen and I feel my face redden.

I hear Ransom laugh, but I can't move my gaze. "My eyes are up here, Liv." I finally snap my gaze up to his, he's grinning from ear to ear but he's trying to hide it. "See something of interest, princess?" I compose myself and scowl at him.

"Nothing at all." He's still grinning. "You know, you shouldn't be so cocky, it's bad for your health." I snap with mock irritation.

"But I have every reason to be cocky, and you know it." He says with a lot of confidence. He's right, but I don't want to agree with him.

"Well girls aren't attracted to guys that are arrogant." It's the only thing I could think of. "Let's just go swimming since we don't have much time left."

"Okay Liv, let's jump off the top rock together like we used to." He says with a smile. "I'll race you." Then he takes off.

I'm still in the water so it takes me a little while to get to the edge, but when I do, I release my wings and fly to the highest rock. Ransom and I get there at the same time. I forgot how fast hellhounds can be.

"No fair, flying is cheating." He says with a grin.

"Well so is leaving me in the water while you take off." I say back and playfully hit his arm.

"Fine, I'm sorry," he says still grinning. "Not really but I'll say it. Now put your wings away, we don't want them to delay you hitting the water." I do as he says, and he watches they slowly disappear into my back leaving no mark. "Okay, now give me your hand and we'll jump together." I nod my head and grasp his hand.

And then, we jump.
