A stopped clock.

An unknown static that makes your hair stand up on end.

A soft hum that you seem to ignore, but you know it's there.

She knew it was happening. The end of time. Flicking her brown hair over her shoulder, she followed the pull in her stomach that drove her. No matter how far it took her, she drove and drove until she made it. The academy. The walls still stood tall and proud over the city streets.

She hadn't seen this building since she was young. Since everything began. Before she began.

Yet, everything had stayed  the same and had never changed. Everything but the people that walked it's halls.

Making her way out of the car and ditching it on the side, she glanced to her hands to reveal a soft warm yellow glow as she smirked. Levitating up, her body as well as her hands now glowed the same yellow color as her feet touched the roof, she walked among the roof and peered over me of the hedges to see a blue force field that broke with a child coming out.

"Five?" She muttered watching the boy as the force field broke in front of her.

"Does anyone else see— little number five or is that just me?"

Blankly she stared at the group.

She had expected there to be more emotion within the group considering what had happened. The rain making this sweet reunion seem more like a funeral. But then again. Wasn't it?

She had heard the news.

Then again, everyone had. Everyone had felt the loss of the brightest but evilest mind. She clicked her tongue and walked selling the edge of the roof staring down the group. Dangling a foot off the edge as she watched.

The team made their way inside the building as she dropped to the ground behind them, the gravel made a harsh crunch under her feet as she barely caught the door and sliding her way in. She smirked and pulled her hood over her head and crept along the house. The six made their way to the kitchen as she made her way to the one place she had known more than anything.

Walking in the room, she lied down on the bed and kicked her legs up on the desk. He hadn't been here long. The room had looked the exact same as when she left. Many memories had brought her back to a simpler time. Yet she stayed, awaiting for the reaction she knew would come.

And she was right on time with it as well. Within the fifteen minute time frame, she heard someone make their way up the steps and down the long corridor as they walked in, she heard them stop at the door frame.

"Theodora-"

"Nikolas," she cursed sitting straight on the bed, he rolled his eyes and slouched before shutting the door behind him.
