"So on our most recent study, your muscles have shown insensitivity when it comes to running and any sort of combative situation, you can't seem to persuade others, you don't speak to the dead, and also you can't grow tentacles out of you-"

"So on our most recent study, your muscles have shown insensitivity when it comes to running and any sort of combative situation, you can't seem to persuade others, you don't speak to the dead, and also you can't grow tentacles out of you-"

"Is that what Ben does?" Theodora interrupted as Vanya let out a soft chuckle.

"So what can you do?"

"I noticed that I fight— very well when my hand is glowing."

"That seems like a stupid power-"

"As does most of your siblings, don't they?"

She nodded and sat back with her clipboard, slightly tapping a beat as Theodora sighed. She sat back and stared to the ceiling.

"Maybe you have x-ray vision?" She suggested as Theodora sighed and looked to her hand and to the wall, but didn't see anything but paneling.

"No dice," she sighed.

"Weather modification? Super speed?"

She shook her head.

"Can't do those either."

"That's strange," Vanya sighed as she went to open the window. She sat at the window seal staring at Theodora taking soft breaths.

"Maybe I am just ordinary," Theo shrugged, "this stupid hand thing means nothing."

"It doesn't mean nothing, it just means we don't know what it is," Vanya suggested. The front door of the house slammed at an alarming rate as Vanya fell through the window.

"Vanya!" Theodora screamed as she ran to the window seal the girl was once feet from where she was at the window. Not thinking, Theodora jumped through the window and grabbed Vanya's hand, pulling her in.

Once Vanya was safely on the ground, she took a look at Theodora and gasped. Her eyes were widened and she looked as to be in shock. Theodora rose a brow and checked the girl for any injuries. Which she had seemed to have none.

"What is it?"

"You're floating!" She grinned, "that's your power! Flying."

"How lame," she said as she landed on the ground. She groaned and walked to the door, shutting it to make sure nobody from the other rooms would have heard her.
