Chapter Nineteen
"I don't know," Five hissed throwing his cup. The team had just asked him the one question that had seemed to be on everyone's minds, including Hex.
Who was Harold Jenkins?
"But I do know that he's responsible for the apocalypse." Five paced around the room. "So we have to find him. And we have to do it now!"
"How is he connected to what's gonna happen?" Luther asked his brother trying to fully understand just as the rest were.
"I don't know."
"Wait, so you just know his name?" Diego asked walking past his siblings. "That's it?"
"That's enough." Hex sighed, "Five knows what he's talking about, might as well get to work-"
"There's probably dozens of Harold Jenkins's in the city." Diego barked
"Well, we just better start looking, then," Five glanced to his brothers and sisters as they all began to talk to themselves about the matter.
"Am I the only one that's skeptical here?" Allison stepped out looking at Five. "I mean, how exactly do you know all of this about what's his name?"
"Harold Jenkins." Five glared through her skull and looked like he was in pin as Hex rose a brow, Whatever was wrong, she truly hadn't cared at the moment. "You know those lunatics in masks who attacked the house?"
"Oh, yeah, I think I remember those guys." Klaus said trailing off.
"Yeah, the ones that attacked us while you were getting drunk." Diego glared at Five.
"Yeah. Them," he said nonchalantly, igniting his brothers fumes. "They were sent by the Temps Commission to stop me from coming back - and preventing the end of life on Earth."
"The Temps what?" Allison crosses her arms.
"My former employer." Five shrugged. "They monitor all of time and space to make sure that whatever is supposed to happen happens."
"They believe the apocalypse is coming in three days. So I went to Commission headquarters and intercepted a message that was meant for said lunatics."
"Protect Harold Jenkins?" Hex muttered as Five snapped and looked to her. Klaus went to sit down on the couch as Hex tried not to pay too much attention to his suffering.
"So he must be responsible for the apocalypse." Five said looking to his siblings. All of them took it in for a moment and then then spoke at the same time.
