Chapter Twenty
Holding her knees to her chest, Theodora sat in her room, quietly. She had heard the sound of her door rattling and many of the children banging on it begging for her to answer. She sat in her spot, counting the cars that passed by.
She hadn't moved from her spot as she felt the soft breeze blow through her hair. The blood still felt thick on her skin even though all traces were washed clean.
She heard the sound of a warp and grunted.
"L-Leave."
"Not until you tell me what happened back there," Five said walking to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Everyone is worried about you, you haven't came out for three days-"
"Because I don't want to come out Five," she swore looking at him as she shrugged.
"Aren't you hungry?"
"No," she sighed.
"You haven't slept either, Theodora-"
"I'm fine, Five-"
"You're going to kill yourself!"
"Good," she sighed.
"Good?"
"Yes!" She cried looking to him. "Good! I don't want to hurt any of you!"
"You really think you meant to do this?" Five cursed pointing out the window. "You don't understand your powers, you've only been here for a month and didn't even know you had that-"
"Just leave— I don't want to accidentally kill you-"
"You do and I'm haunting your ass-"
"Don't you mean, Klaus's?" She muttered as he sighed.
"Yes," he said sitting on her bed as she turned around to look at him. "At least eat something?"
She shook her head and looked back out the window as Five scratched the nape of his neck, thinking of what to say that would calm her down. It didn't seem like there would be much. If needed he could get Allison. Or was that too harsh?
He cleared his throat.
"My brother mentioned something about you-"
