Contemplating  on what she was going to say when meeting the team, Hex paced from one  side of the room to the other. Taking her hands through her hair before finally slapping herself and gaining the courage to at least talk to Allison.

The  least frightening of the three. Opening her door, she found no one.  Groaning, Hex turned on her heels and made her way back down the hallway  before Diego even knew she was there. She made her way back to her room  and sat on her bed, sighing loudly.

There was the sound of gun fire as Hex jumped to her feet and ran out the  door and down the stairs. She knew it was coming from the bedrooms, and  she knew none of these idiots would even shoot a gun.

She ran to the hallway to find Diego fighting one of the masked guys from the night before as she shook her head.

"Cha-Cha! Shoot him!"

"Get out of the way, dumbass!" The other yelled at his companion as Hex stared at her hands as they began to glow.

"Get away from him," she hissed at the two as 'Cha-Cha' looked back at her  pointing the gun. She opened fired at her as Hex pushed her back and  ducked to the floor, causing Diego to look back and get punched in the  jaw, being knocked back.

The one masked man checked on the other as Hex lifted Diego with her hand and threw him over the other railing, making him get out of the hallway. She ran down the hallway making it to Diego as they shot as she passed.

"You-"

"Thank me later," she hissed helping him back up and pushing him behind Hargreeves desk.

"What's the plan?" he screamed.

"Get out in one piece, can you manage that?"

"I don't have my knives, I used what was left when they first attacked."

Glancing at the painting above the mantel, Hex laughed.

The two masked figures ran down the stairs to the room as she glanced to Diego.

"Can you throw pens?"

"Won't work as well," he hissed.

"Aim for the jugular?"

"I can't reach," he whispered as she went to grab one. They saw her  movements and opened fired as Diego pulled her to him, holding her head in his lap as she held over her ears.

"Shit!" She screamed.

Soon the gunfire stopped, and she heard someone groan and then the sound of possibly someone falling to the ground.

"Diego—  move now!" Hex hissed getting up to see Allison kicking one of the  masked guys hands and knocking his gun out of his hands as Luther went  for the other.
