Chapter 30

After what seemed like forever, we had gone to all the stores and there was seventy of them. I had picked out thirty dresses, thirty pairs of shoes, three necklaces, five bracelets, twenty one pairs of pajamas and two rings. Cole carried all the bags to the carriage and I happily climbed in. He climbed in and sat next to me. I looked out the window and the sun was setting.

"That was fun", I said.

"It was exhausting", he said.

"How was it exhausting?", I asked.

"I carried all forty of your bags. That's not easy", he replied.

"Oh come on. You're the one who didn't stop me from getting all that stuff", I said.

"I couldn't. It made me happy to see you happy", he said.

"So my happiness is your happiness?", I asked.

"Yeah. I guess that's one way to put it", he replied.

I laid my head on his chest and let my eye close. We stopped about forty five minutes later and got out. Cole carried me inside and gently laid me on the bed. I opened my eyes and saw that he wasn't in bed. I got up and saw my bags next to the dresser as he began to hang up my dresses and put my pajamas in the drawer. He put the shoes in the closet and put all my jewelry on the dresser.

"Do you want anything?", he asked.

"Yeah. I need to eat", I replied.

"Okay. I'll be right back. Don't move", he said.

"Okay okay. I got it", I said.

He walked out the room and closed the door behind him. I fell on the bed with my head hitting the pillow. The door opened as soon as I hit the pillow. He handed me a bottle with a thick red liquid in it.

"Is this what I think it is?", I asked.

"Yeah. Don't worry it's fresh", he replied.

I took the cap off the bottle and sniffed it. It smelled good but does it taste good? I put the bottle up to my lips and let it slide into my mouth. It actually tasted good. I continued to drink it until the bottle was empty. I licked my lips making sure that there was none left. I put the empty bottle on the nightstand and stood up. I went to the dresser and pulled out a a pair of pajamas and put them on in the bathroom. Once I finished I climbed in bed and drifted off to sleep.

Hey guys. I know this was a short chapter cause the next one will be long. So I will start that one tomorrow cause I need to gather all my thoughts for the next chapter. So look out for another chapter.
