Tough love

Chapter 25

I shut my locker after I get my things and I swing my heavy backpack over my shoulder and I wait for Jack to finish getting his things. Once he has his things he walks I've to me and smiles. I drop my bag a lean up against my wall. Jack shakes his head and picks up my backpack with ease. "You need help with that?" He asks with a laugh. "Sure since you offered." I say and u push my way past him like I own the place. "So we should head to the drama room to see who got into the school musical." Jack suggest. I nod and I feel him slip his hand in mine. I look up at him to see him smirking. I shake my head before I keep walking. When we reach the drama room I walk over to the list. I scan it and I feel my heart drop when I see I didn't make it but of course Mr. Perfect made it. I hang my head with a little pout. "So?" Jack asks. I look up at him disappointed in myself. "I didn't make it but you did." I say softly. "That's a bummer. You'll make it next time." He says wrapping his free arm around me and kissing the top of my head. I nod before we keep walking. Once we're outside we split apart to our cars and I drive home and Jack follows.

Once we arrive at my house I see Lilly's car in the drive way. I sigh and shake my head. I get out and I wait for Jack. It doesn't take long for him to drive up and jump out of his car and he walks over to me with a nervous smile I'm guessing I saw Lilly's car. We walk into the house hand in hand and we go straight to my room not even looking at Mark and Lilly who are sitting on the couch. "Can you his day get any worse?" I ask then I hear my phone ring, well I get a text alert. I check to see its from Leah and she's having a sleepover tonight. Finally something good is going to happen. I give a sigh a relief. "What?" Jack asks giving me a strange look. "Leah's having a sleepover." Is all I say before I start to get my things together.

After about an hour Jack drives me over to house because he's spending the night with Alex and Leah and Alex live only ten minutes apart. I grab my things before saying bye to Jack when he drops me off. I go up to the door and knock. It's answered bye Leah and she lets me in then I see Chloe and groan. 'I rather be stuck in the same room as Lilly' I think before setting my things on the floor. Chloe shakes her head and groans also. "So is there supposed to be anyone else showing up?" I ask looking at Leah. Leah shakes her head. I sigh... This is going to be a interesting night...
