Tough love

Chapter 36

I sit at lunch with everyone and then I see my friend Maddie and she waves me over to where she is sitting. I sigh and I pick up my tray and I get up. "Where you going?" Jack asks. I look down at him and smile. "I'm going to sit with Maddie." I say and he nods slowly and seemed a little unsure. I walk over to where she is and sit. "Hey so how are you?" She asks. I shrug. "I'm fine I guess." I say and I start to eat. We talk the rest of the lunch well mostly her because she was talking about an anime. This is the longest lunch of my life.

It's the end of school and me and Jack head to his apartment. I grab my dirty clothes and I walk into the living room where Jack was sitting. "Hey can I barrow your car I need to take some dirty clothes home to get washed." I say and he throws me his Keys. I nod him a thanks and I head down to his car and I slide in after throwing my clothes in the back. I pull out then I drive home. When I get there I grab my clothes and I head inside the house.

After I put my clothes in the washer I head to the living room. I walk in on Mark and Lilly having a make out session. I clear my throat making them look at me. "Hey." I say awkwardly. "Hey." Mark says back. Mom walks in and smiles at me. "So I'm about to go pick up your great uncle from the airport, does anyone want to come?" She asks. "I'm fine with going." Mark said. "Well if I go I'll have to pick up Jack because I'm driving his car." I say. "That's fine now go and meet us at the airport." My mom says and with that I rush out of the house and to the car before driving to Jack's apartment.

When I arrive I have the urge to pee so I rush up and knock on the door with all my might until he answers the door. When he opens it I rush in. "Need to pee don't ask anything." I say then I close the bathroom door and as I'm going for like one second I see a spider I soon forget about peeing I pull up my pants squeaking and says "Claude!" O rush to the living room and tackle Jack. "What in the world Sarah." He says. I squeak again. "Spider!" I squeal. "How big?" He asks and I make a 'ok' sign with my fingers. "Kill it." He says. I shake my head. "But I like these boots plus I'm not going near that demon spider." I say and I finally get off of him so he could go see. "Gees you sound like ciel." He jokes as we walk to the bathroom.

He looks around the bathroom and finally finds it. "Oh my gosh! It's so big" he says sarcastically. I huff a little before he kills it. "Thank you now if you excuse me I need to pee." I say pushing him out and doing my thing. After I'm done with that I tell Jack that we need to go to pick up my great uncle and stuff. Once we're in the car Jack does a little spider crawl with his hand making me squeak and jump a little in my seat. "Gosh Sarah your so jumpy." I shake my head and we start our long drive to the Oklahoma City airport.
