Chapter 66

Sarah's P.O.V.
I wake up with a jump when I hear the roar thunder. I quickly grab the big teddy bear Jack had gotten and I wrap myself around it feeling a little safer now. I lay there flinching very time the thunder roars but eventually I fall back asleep.

I wake up again but this time to my alarm. I groan grabbing my phone and turning the alarm off. I slowly get up and I grab a blue V neck and some skinny jeans before grabbing white converse. I brush my hair and teach before I head downstairs to the breakfast. After I eat I head back upstairs and I grab my purse, keys and backpack. I swing my backpack over my shoulder and I head out of my car. I put on a pair of pink summery Sunglasses. I slide into the drivers side after tossing my backpack in the backseat. I pull out of my driveway and I start hey way to school. I stop at a light and I look to my left to see Jack who was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel probably listening to music. He looks over my way giving me a small smile and a wave, I just ignore him.

At the moment I don't really know if I'm mad at him or not I'm just in the middle at the moment. I most likely will forgive him but I just don't know at the moment. Uhhh! Why does love have to me so tough!? I look at the road when the light turns green and I soon turn into the school parking lot. I get out and I get my bag before making my way into the school being greeted by the cheer group and also my new friend group. I'm popular now!

I walk to my locker bending down and unlocking before getting my things for first hour. I start that way. I pass many students then I feel an hand in my arm and I'm pulled into a room. I look at the person but only to see Jack. He pins me to the wall. I look at him but only to look away. "What do you want?" I ask. I hear him sigh. "Would you please just get over what happened yesterday? I didn't even know." He begs. I sigh. "I wouldn't be mad if you would have checked your voicemail." I say. He sighs again. "I'm sorry." He simply says. There was a long pause and we didn't move or day anything. He moves his hands from the wall. "You know I was really worried about you last night. And I'm worried today." He says softly. The forecast calls for thunderstorms. I nod then a crash of thunder make the voices in the hall stop for a slit second and I find myself clinging to Jack.

He holds me tightly as the thunder crashes again and I cling to him tighter. When it finally stops we split apart a little. "You know I love you right?" He asks. I nod my head. "The promise proves it." I say looking down at the beautiful ring. "That's right." He says before leaving the room. The bell rings tell everyone it's time to get to first hour. I sigh and I rush to class.

Jack's P.O.V.

I sigh as I walk out of the school and to my car. I can't stand Sarah being mad at me. It mostly won't any longer before she gets over it but I'll wait as long as I can even if it takes a year. I shake my head to clear the thought and I look at the road. When I arrive at my apartment I grab my bag after turning off my car and I head up. Once I'm in a grab my phone and I start to browse YouTube. I look at my subscriptions to see if anyone has uploaded anything yet. I shake my head when I see only one video. I just ignore it and I check to see when I last posted a video. Almost a year ago. I sigh. I have nothing better to do. I set up my phone and I get my laptop.

I sit in front of my phone and I press record. "Hey what is up guys it's Jack Meister here and yes I know it's been forever since I've uploaded a video. But for this video I will be singing a song called let her go. I will be playing the music from my laptop because I have broke my arm so it's kinda hard to play guitar. Ok let's get on with it." I say. I look at my laptop that had a karaoke video up for let her go and I press play.
