Tough love

Chapter 12

We drive up to the zoo. I'm with Leah, Ruth, and Emily. "So how are you and jack doing?" Emily asks nudging me in the shoulder. I shrug. "Great, it's just I've been talking to him for the past week." I say. After that no one said anything. We stay at the zoo for a couple of hours talking and having fun. Soon Leah takes me home and I get my stuff and I go over to jack's house because lizzy invited me to spend the night. Lizzy opens the door and let's me In. "So... Where's Jack?" I ask as lizzy leads me up to her room where I put my stuff. "He went to get snacks and drinks for tonight." Lizzy ways. I nod and I follow her downstairs. We watch Tv and do each other's nails.

A hour later Jack comes in with sacks in his hand. I look away from him not really wanting to be in the same room as his. "Lizzy did you only invite me?" I ask. Lizzy shakes her head. "No, my friend Marley is supposed to be here in a few minutes." She says. I nod before getting on my phone because I getaway text.

Jack: are you still mad at me?

Me: maybe

Jack: please forgive me I hate being away from you for this long

Me: good

I silence my phone and I shove it under the blanket on the couch. Soon Marley comes and we start a movie. I finally decide to talk to him but not to say I forgive him. "Jack sweetheart could you make some popcorn and get some drinks please?" Ask glaring up at him. "Only if you say you forgive me." He says with a smirk that makes him look so hot. I sigh in defeat. "Fine I forgive you, but that doesn't mean you off the hook." I say. He smiles before heading to the kitchen to get popcorn and drinks. "Your brother is so stubborn." I say. "Tell me about it." Lizzy says. Soon he comes back with the popcorn and drinks. He hands me a bottle of sprite and it nice and cold just how I like it.

After I take a drink of my sprite I feel tears form in my eyes. Nice and strong just how I like it. I shoot Jack a smile. "Just how I like it." I mumble. Jack gives a low chuckle. I shake my head before talking a bowl of popcorn. After the movie Jack takes the empty bowls to the kitchen and me, Lizzy, and Marley gather around in a circle. "So who wants to play truth or dare?" Lizzy asks. "Is Jack playing?" I ask. Lizzy smirks and nods. "Then I don't want to play." I say. Lizzy and Marley shake their heads. "Please." Lizzy says in a pleading tone. I sigh and nod I have a plan. Soon Jack comes back and joins us. Everything it was my turn I did truth, I don't want them to do something with Jack. "Why do you always pick truth?" Marley asks. I shrug. "Ok then, Jack truth or dare?" Lizzy says with a smirk. Oh no she has a plan! "Dare." Jack says with a smirk also. I mentally slap myself. "I dare you to get the bath with your clothes on." Lizzy says.

I get up and I walk to the kitchen to get a glass of water. "Lizzy get the water ready I need to get something." Jack says before walking in. He walks over to me and talk the glass out of my hand and sets it on the counter before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. "What the hey are you doing Jack?" I ask putting my head on his back so I'm holding myself up so I'm not looking at his butt. "Let me down!" I demand. "Nope. Not letting you down." Jack says has he walks up the stairs. Oh please don't go into the bathroom. He goes into the bathroom and let's me down. Lizzy closes the door and Jack locks it. I stand by the tub filled with water. Jack walks over to me and picks me up before dropping me in the tub. I get out before I could get my hair wet and Jack jumps in. I grab a towel and I dry myself off of much as I can.

I try to open the door but it won't budge. "What in world?" I say trying to open the door. "The must hand put something in front of it." Jack says getting out of the tub and grabbing a towel and starts to drain the water. I stand there not looking at him. Jack walks over and lift my head so I'm looking up at his beautiful blue eyes. "Please forgive me, I can take you being mad at me." He says and I could see tears form. I nod before kissing him. He wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer. It feels good being in his arms again after this week, I needed this. When we pull away we both have smiles. "Your forgiven." I say with a smile. "Good." He says before kissing me again. We finally get Lizzy to let us out and I head to Lizzy's room to change.

When I come back into the living room Jack is laying on the couch shirtless, so he either did it on purpose or he doesn't have a clean shirt because he never washes his clothes without being told to. "Is that on purpose or do you not have any clean shirts?" I ask sitting on his legs. "Purpose, now get off my legs so I can sit up." He says. I blush as I get up and he moves so he's sitting up. I sit next to him and he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer. "Ok I'd it weird or just me but your friend is dating your brother" Marley says. We all shake our heads. "No, you know Mark my boyfriend well that's Sarah's big brother." Lizzy says. "Well then it's just me." Marley says rolling her eyes. We all four yawn and look at each other. "Well I'm going to bed." Jack says. We three girls get our sleeping things and we head back down to the living room. I sit there in a daze still going over the events of tonight. "Sarah you can join him we don't care." Lizzy says. I smile. "Really (they nod) thanks girls." I say before hopping up and heading to jack's room. He is laying on his bed with only boxers on that are dangerously low when I walk in. He looks at me the blushes as he pulls up his boxers. I giggle and make my wake to his bed.

I slid in next to him and he wraps his arm around me and I say my head in his bare chest. "I knew you would come up at some point." He whispers before kissing the top of my head. I smile before curly up closer to him and I sit up enough to place a kiss on his lips. We lay there for a bit before sleep comes over us both and we both fall asleep.

Sorry I didn't put much detail into the zoo trip I just wanted to get on with the story... Hope you liked this chapter... K bye
