Tough love

Chapter 47

( there maybe Star Wars spoilers for those who haven't seen all of Star Wars)
Jack's P.O.V.

I poor myself some coffee and I sit on the sofa as I wait for Sarah to wake up. I sit there as I watch episode five of Star Wars laughing about how stupid he looks when climbs onto things and he takes a little of Luke's food. Half way through the movie Sarah walks in slowly and get a cup of coffee for herself and sits next to me. "Morning." I whisper to her as I kiss her head. She opens her mouth to say something but the only thing that came out was a squeak. I give her a confused look and she try's to talk again. "You lost your voice!" I exclaim. She sighs and nods. I play with her hair a little and she give a little pout.

We watch the rest of Star Wars episode five and six. I laugh at so many things like when Luke and vadior have their fight and vadior tells Luke he's his father and I also love Jaba. When the episodes are over i turn off the TV and I stand. I pick up my phone because I hear it buzz and it's from Sarah. I look at her. "So this is how your going to talk today?" She nods.

Sarah: can we go to the mall

Me: fine get dressed

Sarah: thanks

The runs to the room to change. After she changes I change also then we head to the mall. When we arrive she rushes in and we shop for about two hour but it felt like a week.

Sarah: hungry

Me:your hungry?

Sarah: duh 😑😘

Me: ok I then let's go to the food court

Me and Sarah walk down there hand n' hand and we go find a seat. Sarah pulls me to Dairy Queen or DQ. She texts me what she wants and I order for her after I pay I walk off to get me something to eat and she waits for the food. After I finally pick subway and get my sandwich and I head back to the table where Sarah was waiting for me. She's spaced out staring at someone. I turn to look and see who she's staring at and I see... Kade, the biggest jerk in school next to Garret. I shake my head and I snap Sarah out of her trance.

Me: you ok

Sarah: can we hurry up I don't like Kade staring at me

Me: ok

I put my phone down and I look at Sarah who was frozen in fear then kade comes into view. I roll my eyes. Kade smirks lightly at us.

"So what are you doing?" He asks Sarah.

"Kade."

"Shush man let the girl talk."

Sarah stays quiet.

"Dud she can't talk she lost her voice."

He smirks again.

"Well now that's just to sad."

I stand up and I grab my things and I walk over to Sarah.

"Dude leave her alone." I warn.

"Ok but your lucky I'm with my grandma today or this would have gone farther."

He walks away.

I take Sarah by the hand and she grabs her things. I throw away our food both not wanting to eat after that. I just hope we don't have any problems with him at school but knowing our luck we probably will.
