Tough love

Chapter 58

The whole night I just sat on the couch staring out into space as I listen to Bruno Mars, FIYM (forever in your mind), Shawn Mendes, Coldplay, imagine dragons, casting crowns, piano guys, Adel, Brandon Heath, news boys, Toby Mac, ect... I was a loooooooong night. Lany was the first to wake up and suggested I get some sleep but I refused because of the fear I would have another nightmare. I told her what happened and she just nodded and didn't say another word until everyone else woke up. We had breakfast which Sydney's mom made. It was amazing! After breakfast I call Jack and he didn't pick up. I shake my head, he must still be asleep.

We sit around for about an hour and Sydney asks if she could do my nails. I pick out blue and silver. She's in the middle of the first hand when Jack calls. Lany picks up for me because I can't reach my phone. I look at her and she looks at me after having a small conversation. She hands me my phone. "Hey." I say after setting my phone between my ear and shoulder. "Hey. How you doing?" I hear Jack's sweet voice from the other side. "Tired and my stomach is a little upset but I bet after I take a nap I'll be fine." I say and I feel my stomach ache a little along with a cramp. "Ok do you want me to pick you up in thirty minutes because I'm about to leave Mark's (Marky Mark) house." He says. "Yeah Sydney is doing my nail but I'll get my things together once they dry." I hear him sigh. "Ok, I'll see you then." I smile a little. "Ok bye." "Bye, love you." "Love you too." I say back then I hang up handing Lany my phone and I tell her to put it on the charger.

I look up at the girls and they are all looking at me waiting for the next thing to happen. "What?" I ask feeling my face heat up. They all look away and go back to what they were doing before. I shake my head and I switch hands blowing on the nails Sydney just did.

The doorbell rings and Sydney gets up to see who it is. I stuff my things into my pink overnight bag. I look up to see Jack walking into the living room. I give him a wave and he waves back. I grab my purse along with my charger with my phone connected to it. I pick up my overnight bag and Jack grabs the pillow I brought. "I'll see you Monday, Sydney." I say giving her a hug then we head out to Jack's car. Jack puts everything in the trunk while I slide into the passenger seat. I yawn a little. Jack slides into the drivers side and sets his hand on my knee. "You doing ok?" He asks looking at me a little concerned as he rubs my knee. I shrug. "Just tired." I say yawning a little. Jack nods and starts the way to his apartment.

By the time we get there I half asleep. I sleepily get out of the car and Jack rushes to my side when I stumble. Jack picks me up bridle style and carries me to his room and the moment I hit the soft matures I'm out.

I pet griffin as I get up to make some eggs. "I'm taking a shower." Sally says. We're twelve and both at home sick. I head to the kitchen to make some eggs. I finish the eggs in no time. I look through the pantry looking for bread to make toast. I hear a thud then the sound of Sally having a seizure. I feel my heart quicken. I get griffin out of the house and I dial 911. The call feels like forever but it's only three minutes. After that I call mom.

About two minutes later Sally stumbles out of the bathroom and at the same time the ambulance drives up. I quickly sit Sally down then I let the paramedics in. They swarm Sally and one stays behind and asks me some questions and I tell them mom will be there soon to answer the questions I don't know the answer to.

I sit up sweating and crying. I look around and I hear the door open to see Jack walking in. I curl up into a ball and notice the bear in Jack's hand. He hands it to me getting on the bed facing me. I opens his arms out. I sigh and I make my way over to his wrapping my legs around his waist. We sit there holding each other the bear between us. "You ok?" Jack ask kissing my head. "I don't know but I did get some sleep." I say now feeling like I got some sleep. "Mark called an hour ago to remind you that you and him have something tonight." Jack says. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe I forgot!" I say jumping off of Jack. "What?" He ask. "My church had a father daughter banquet every year and they let Mark go because of my father being gone." I say.

Jack nods. "Can you take me home so I can change?" I ask turning to him. He nods getting up. I slip on my shoes and I follow Jack out to his car. When we get there I'm greeted by lucky along with Mark. "Hey sis, umm... There is someone I want you to meet." Mark says after Jack leaves. I nod and he leads me to the living room. I see a beautiful women sitting on the couch. "Sarah this is my girlfriend Ella, Ella this is my sister Sarah." Ella smiles while getting up. She shake my hand. "It's nice to meet." She says. I smile back. "It's nice to meet you too." I say back. "Sarah, I think you should let Ella do you hair and makeup for the banquet tonight." Mark says. Ella nods. "Sure. Why not." I say then I lead Ella to my room.

I pick a summery kind of dress along with what heals. "You room looks lovely." I hear Ella from behind me. "Thanks." I say look at her. "So just sit and I will do my magic." Ella says as I sit. For the next hour or so we both talk and get to know each other. When she's done I look at myself. My hair is curled what relaxed curls. I have the natural makeup on with pink and white eye shadow along with black eyeliner. "It looks amazing." I say. Ella smiles then we head out of the bedroom. Make walks out of with room with a black suit and red tie. "Ready?" He asks. I nod thanking Ella and we head out.
