Chapter 45

Me and Jack are in my room when Mark calls me down because someone is here to see us. I walk slowly down the stairs Jack behind me. When the living room comes into view and I see... THOMAS!!! I run full spend behind him and I ounce on his back and catches me quickly under my legs so I don't fall off his back. I mess with his chocolate brown hair. He chuckles as he shakes his head. He moves quickly so he's holding me like I'm four. Me smiles and kisses me cheeks. I squeeze him in a hug and I look at Jack who as a confused/jealous face. "I misses you so much, buba." I say using the nickname he hates. Thomas is one of the three brothers, so there is Braden (who is died), Thomas, and Mark, then my sister (who is also dead of you remember). "I missed you too little sis, and I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Sally's funeral I just couldn't afford it at the time." He says and I nod in understanding. He finally puts me down and turns and looks at Jack who still had a jealous look.

Thomas looks at Jack for a bit then me giving me and explain look. "Oh, this is Jack my boyfriend." I say a little nervous about what ether is going to say. The smile at each other. "Dude don't worry if a great guy, he was my best man in my wedding." Mark says. "Oh ok, and sorry I didn't make it to your wedding I had a piano residual that day." He explains. "Did it's fine I didn't make it to your wedding." I shake my head then I look around. "Speaking of where is Mary?" I ask. "She's at home with the kids." We both nod. "Well I'm happy your here how long will you be here?" I ask. "Well maybe the week." He says.

After talking for and hour or so Thomas gets his bag and we watch a movie as we wait for mom to get home. After the movie mom finally arrives and we talk for another hour before there is a knock on the door. I walk over to the door and open it to see Lizzy. We hug and she had a somewhat sad look in her eyes. I lead her where Jack is and they hug. "Lizzy what are you doing here?" He asks. "Dad... Was... Killed in an car accident last night." She says breaking down. Jack hold her tightly as a couple tear slide down his face. I give Jack a hug after mom comes over to take Lizzy. I let Jack cry into me for a good thirty minutes. "Your going to me ok." I say running my hand on his wet cheek. He nods a little. "What about Lizzy I know the house in Edmond is a rental..." I cut him off. "Jack don't worry about she can live here if she needs to or I could move back and she can live with you." I say trying to calm him, he nods slowly. I walk into the kitchen after Jack is calm and I see Lizzy helping my mood m with dinner.

I walk over to my mom. "Can I talk to you?" I ask. She nods and we walk out. "What is it sweetie?" She asks. "Can Lizzy live here because the house they have in Edmond is a rental so she doesn't have anywhere to live mostly because her father was the one who was paying for the house." My mom nods. "Of course just tell her she's welcome." My mom as with a smile. I smile back and thanks her letting her go back to cooking dinner. Once dinner is ready we gather at the dining room table and we start to eat. "So Mark where's your wife?" Thomas asks. "She went to a friends house." It silent after, and for the rest of the dinner. I can already tell this is going to a silent night.
