Tough love

Chapter 6

It's been a week since me and jack got back together. I just finish cheer and I meet Jack at the door I also see Garret but he was waiting for Chelsea. I give him a evil glare as we walk past him. He looks at me and shivers. I laugh a little. After I get my stuff and I change I meet Jack outside. Once he sees me he smiles. "I got a new car yesterday and I think you'll like it." He says as he puts his hand in mine. I smile at the felling of his strong hand in next to my little hand. He walk to the soft-more parking lot and we walk over to a blue corvette. I moth opens wide in shock. He chuckles and opens the door for me and take my bag. He puts our bags in the trunk and walks over to the divers side. He slides in and turns It on. I smile as I hear the roar. I scan the dashboard. "What model is this?" I ask him. He smiles. "The newest model." He says. I look at him shocked. "Ok but do you know what it's called because Mark still doesn't know and that when I find out is when he tells me." I say. Jack shrugs. "I forgot." He says. I nod. "So how can you afford this?" I asks. He shakes his head. "My dad is friends with one of the guys that work for the company and we got a discount on it." He says. I nod.

The rest of the ride we don't talk and that really unlike me. When we get to his house he parks and gets our bags before helping me out. I take my bag and he leads me to the living room. I sit on the couch and he goes to the kitchen to get snacks. I few minutes later spot trots up and jumps on my lap. She licks my face and I giggle as she does. A while later Jack comes back with a plate of cookies and two glasses of milk. Spot jumps off of me and runs off to who knows where. I shake my head as I grab a couple of cookies and a glass of milk. After a few more is finish my milk and I grab my bag. I take out my binder and a math book. Jack shakes his head. "What?" I ask. He shakes his head again. " why go to the books right away after a snack." He says as he scoots closer to me. He leans in a kissed me. I kiss him back with a smile. We kiss again. It's a nice long kiss. When we pull away we look to see Lizzy walking in crying. "What's wrong sis?" Jack asks her. She wipes a few tears away. "Mark broke up with me." She says. I shake my head. "Ok umm... I'll talk to him when I get home. Let's go up to your room and I'll bring you some ice cream or something." I say before we head up to her room I set her on her bed then I get the ice cream. After I calm her down I head back down to were Jack was waiting for me and he was laying on the couch half asleep.

I giggle and he gets up. On my way to sit by him I trip and I hurt my ankle a bit. I get up slowly as Jack helps me. He makes me lay on the couch. He lifts my legs and sits and lays my legs on him. "Ok does it hurt?" He asks. I shake my head as I move it a little. He nods. "Ok this might hurt a bit." He says before he puts his hands on my ankle and foot and rubs it. I set my head back as pain shoots through my foot. He sighs. After a few minutes of him doing that he lets go and my ankle didn't hurt anymore. I smile as I set up. I move to were I could lay down but my head is in his lap. He smiles. "Fell better?" He asks. I nod. I smile and he smiles back. He leans down a little and I lean up and we kiss. I feel him smile into the kiss. He pulls away and I set up. We finally start our homework. It take about an hour to finish and I 'helped' Lizzy make dinner. When I say helped I mean I made her sit while I make dinner. She seemed like she was fiscally here but not mentally. I shake my head as I grab some stuff to make tacos. It take half an hour to make dinner and I make Jack set the table and i set the tortillas in a plate and the meat in a bowl. I set everything on the table. I go back to the kitchen to get a spoon for the meat when Jack grabs me by the waist. "Let me get everything else and it smells amazing." He says looking at me with a smile. I nod before he gives me a small peck on the lips. As I walk off he smacks my ass. I shake my head as I walk around the house for Lizzy. Once I find everyone I sit at the table. I smile as Jack walks in followed by everyone else.

It doesn't take long to my for us to eat and clean the table. I sit on the couch as I gather all my things. After I get my stuff me and jack head to my house. Apparently my mom is sick and she is me and mark's alarm clock so Jack is supposed to get us up in the morning (for some reason but I'm not complaining). I set my things in my room then I head take a shower.

Jack's P.O.V.

Sarah just got into the shower and I check up on Mark. I walk in his room and he looks at me. He looks at me like I'm going to kill him. I shake my head. "I'm not gunna hurt you." I say. He relaxes. "Before you say anything else I don't know why I broke up with Lizzy." He says with a shaky voice. I nod. "Then what happened?" I ask. He shrugs. I nod again. "Dude go tell Lizzy your sorry and say you didn't mean it." I say and that's all it took for him to jump off his bed and rush out the door. I shake my head with a little laugh. I sit on the couch as I wait for Sarah to get out of the shower when Bella struts up with her cute little collar with the bell. I pick her up and I start to people her. She leans into my hand as she starts to purr. After a few minutes I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look at to see Sarah with a smile. She picks up Bella and walks somewhere. Not long after a black lab comes in. I laugh as his tail knocks over a empty cup. Soon Sarah comes in and tackles him.

She roles him over and pins him to the ground. He paws at her and she starts to play with him giggling. After a few minutes she bits her tongue. She gets off of him. "Griffin you butt." She says then pets griffin. She lets him out then let's in her other dog. "Sugar do you want a treat?" Sarah says coming into the room with a dog biscuit in her hand. After she gives sugar the biscuit Sarah so stupid next to me. I wrap my arm around her and she rest her head on my chest. We watch TV for a bit and Sarah falls asleep. I sigh before i pick her up and I carry her to her room with sugar not far behind me. After a lay Sarah on her bed then sugar jumps on the bed waking Sarah. Sarah gets up and goes to change. When she comes back sugar jump back on the bed.

I smile as I watch Sarah curl up with sugar. "Will you be ok with her?" I ask. Sarah nods. I smile before walking over to the door then sugar jumps off the bed and trots out the door. "On second thought could you stay." Sarah says with a giggle. I chuckle and I take sugar outside and then I go back up to Sarah's room. She was half asleep when I come in. I sigh before taking off my shirt then I slide in next to Sarah. She curls up into a ball after I pull her closer to me. She falls asleep and soon I also fall asleep.
