"GOT A FEELING THAT I'M GOING UNDER! BUT I KNOW THAT I'LL MAKE IT OUT ALIVE! IF I QUIT CALLING YOU MY LOVER! MOVE ON! MOVE ON! YOU WATCH ME BLEED TILL I CAN'T BREATHE! I'M SHAKING FALLING ONTO MY KNEES! AND NOW THAT I'M WITHOUT YOUR KISSES, I'LL BE NEEDING KISSES!"

My four year old niece, Taylor shouted. I swear she acts exactly like her mom.

"Ok, ok. Tay, can you pass me my phone?" I asked.

"Uncle Nolen, can we have have McDonalds for dinner?" Taylor asked handing me my phone.

"How about this. You come with me to the gym for 1 hour, then we can go to McDonalds, and I'll take you to get some frozen yogurt."

"Yay! But when's mommy going to be home?"

"Not until after your bedtime. So maybe I'll let you stay up a little later."

"Yaay!"

"Change your clothes too."

I had already changed my clothes after I picked Taylor up from daycare, so I didn't have to worry. Yes, I live with my older sister, and it's because our parents kicked her out 4 years ago when she was 17, and when I was 13 my mom died in a car accident, then my dad became an alcoholic and just started punching me. Not all the time, but like when I said something wrong he would punch me, or when he said he loved me he would punch me afterwards. He soon died when I was 14, and Imani was old enough to become my legal guardian, so here we are.

"Uncle Nolennnn, I need helppp!"

I jogged up the steps to see all of Taylor's clothes around her room.

"I don't know what to wear." She whined.

"All you need is a shirt and some sweatpants or something."

"But what shirt?"

"This shirt." I said handing her a white shirt.

"Sweatpants?"

"Here." I handed her gray sweatpants and then she went to get changed.

When she came out she grabbed my hand and pulled me to my car. I put her in her car seat and then got in the front. I turned on the radio and Stitches by Shawn Mendes came on. I groaned because I knew Taylor would start singing again.

"Uncle Nolen, sing with me!"

"Do I have to?"

"Yesss."

"Fine."

I thought that I'd been hurt before

But no one's every left me quite this sore

Your words cut deeper than a knife

Now I need someone to breathe me back to life

Got a feeling that I'm going under
