Today was the first match of the year, Gryffindor was facing off against Hufflepuff. Although there wasn't a big rivalry between the two houses like Gryffindor and Slytherin, but it was still exciting.

Dorea, Fran, Amanda, Lexi, and Gabrielle sat in the stands beside me. Fran was annoyed with us for forcing her to come to the game but she eventually agreed that it would be a good distraction to keep her away from studying.

Amanda and Lexi were decked out in Gryffindor apparel and I was sporting a gold and red hat. The weather was quite nice but a little too breezy for my liking.

"And here comes the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team! Captain Finstel flies around with his team behind him proudly, hoping to take the win," The announcer called out, causing the Hufflepuffs to erupt into cheers. There were not many of them because most had known they were going to lose. The Gryffindors, however, had packed our side of the stands and were dead silent, waiting for our team to come onto the field.

"And now, for the Gryffindors and their amazing captain, Daniel Key!" Gryffindor went crazy and cheered as loudly as they could. I laughed as the Hufflepuffs looked as if they were already defeated.

The game had begun and Gryffindor had gotten the quaffle. I tried paying attention to the game but it was a boring match because the Hufflepuffs couldn't score a single goal. They were no match for our team and everyone was just waiting for James to catch the snitch.

I turned to Dorea and we began gossiping about the latest couples in our grade. Fran jumped into our conversation and began asking me about Tom. The other three girls were already deep into a different conversation so I didn't have to worry about them hearing us.

"Well, I'm not quite sure what to do. It's been a week and I'm starting to feel as if it never even happened," I sighed, the girls had known exactly what happened because first of all, Dorea witnessed it, and second, she spilled to Fran the next time she saw her. They understood but looked at each other with a glint of mystery in their eyes. I just knew they were up to something.

"It definitely happened, I mean I saw it and I felt as I if I were the one kissing him," Dorea said dreamily, I flicked her forehead causing Fran to laugh.

"Back off, Dor, he's mine," I laughed along with my two best friends and we were so caught up in our conversation that we didn't notice James caught the snitch.

The Gryffindors didn't rush down to the field like they usually did after a win, instead they just headed back up to the castle. It was a no-brainer that we would win, I mean c'mon, the Hufflepuffs are awful at Quidditch.

Dorea commented on the fact that there probably wouldn't even be a party tonight. I nodded in agreement and then Fran pointed out that the Gryffindor team didn't even break a sweat. We parted ways with Fran as we walked up to our common rooms and promised we would see her later.

"Look for my owl, Fran!" Dorea called and we continued on our way. Dorea was right, there wasn't going to be a party tonight. It was pointless because the game had been so boring.

The team walked in a little while after us acting as if they had just gotten back from practice. No one spoke of the game and the night carried on like a normal night. I noticed that Dorea kept disappearing up into our dorm room and coming back down a little while later.

Finally, she asked me if I wanted to go get a milkshake from the kitchens. I followed after her and didn't seem to realize that she was leading us in the exact opposite way of the kitchens. Soon enough, Fram joined us.
