The feeling of loneliness occupied my mind for the past three days. My heart ached at the thought of Tom. I had spent my entire break so far ignoring the thought of him and I pushed those depressing thoughts to the back of my mind. Recently, those thoughts have broken through the barrier that I assumed was impenetrable.
Dorea and Fran suddenly appeared in my bedroom just a second ago, causing me to jump in shock and hit my head on the backboard of my bed. They gave me excited smiles and pulled me off my feet right away.
"Take a shower, you have plans." I glared at them before ripping a towel that was hanging from my closet door and heading into my conjoined bathroom. The sound of my shower turning on and steam rising caused the hairs on my arms to stick up. I was freezing and was quite eager to step into the warm downpour of water.
Once I finished showering, shaving, and wrapping a towel around myself, I walked back into my room to figure out what was going on.
"How should we do her hair?" Questions similar to this attacked me once I walked through the door. The girls barely noticed me and I thought they had completely forgotten about me but was proved wrong when they threw a bag at me. Inside the bag held sexy lingerie that was nude colored and had white lace that clung tightly to the silky fabric.
"You expect me to wear this? I don't even know where I'm going!" I exasperatedly yelled at the two of them. They went silent before Dorea scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"You will wear this." She said threateningly, causing me to nod and begin changing. The girls went back to discussing my makeup and hair. Once I was dressed in the sex appealing undergarments, Fran handed me a large box.
"What the bloody hell is this?" I asked in annoyance, they just gestured for me to open the box. This frustrated me to no end and I opened the box roughly just to aggravate them. They looked at me expectantly and I sighed before reaching into the box and pulling out a gorgeous, red dress.
"Oh my..." I trailed off, my eyes began to water. The girls smiled brightly at me and I looked up in confusion.
"It's not from us, so you can't object to wearing it." Fran said with a laugh erupting from the bottom of her throat. Dorea giggled at my expression. They forced me to change into it and I wasn't allowed to see my appearance until I had my hair and makeup done.
Dorea worked in my makeup while Fran worked on my hair. She just slightly curled it and pushed it to the side, spraying fly-aways with hairspray.
Dorea slipped a pair of black stilettos on my nude painted nails and shoved me over to look into the mirror. I gasped in surprise as I saw my reflection. As conceited as it sounds, I looked exceptionally gorgeous. The dress, makeup, and hair pulled me out of my depressed mood. I twirled around three times and the girls just gushed over how beautiful I looked.
"Thanks guys. Now what is this for?" Instead of answering me, there was a ring at the doorbell. My house elf must have answered because I heard her small voice telling the guest to wait in the parlor.
"I think it's best if we leave, goodbye Dahlia. We'll see you tomorrow." The two girls disappeared after reminding me that tomorrow was my birthday. A smile made its way onto my face and I then noticed that there was a small knock at my door.
"Mistress, someone is here to see you." The house elf said as I opened my door. I smiled and thanked her before grabbing my wand and purse before heading downstairs. When I made my way down the grand staircase, I heard the creak of footsteps appear at the bottom.
