We had arrived back from Beauxbatons and although I had a great time, I was happy to be home. The rest of the trip was lovely, I spent the majority of my time with my old Beauxbatons friends. It was a great opportunity to catch up with them.
After the incident with Charlus at the ball, I've been really uncomfortable around him. He was so wasted, that he didn't even remember it. Matt didn't either, so there was no way Charlus would have known. Dorea hadn't known and I didn't want to tell her about it, because it would cause unnecessary drama.
"Babe, you ready?" Charlus called up the stairs. I had been running late this morning Andrew group was waiting for me in the common room.
"Go without me! I'll be down soon!" He called something back to me that was along the lines of 'okay'. My friends left to go to breakfast together and I was just drying my hair off because it had been wet from the shower.
Once I magically dried it, I placed my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my Gryffindor tie and loosely knotted it around my neck. With the wave of my wand, my books flew into my bag and I stepped into my shoes before running out the door.
If I ran to breakfast, I'd be able to grab an apple. Was it worth the run? My stomach growled and I took that as a yes. My feet moved quickly as I sprinted to the Great Hall. When I finally arrived, my appearance was messed up but I found myself not caring as I sat down next to Dorea.
"Dahl," I responded with a 'hmm?', "We have one minute to get to class."
A groan escaped my lips and I picked up a green apple before heading out of the room with my friends. We arrived in the Transfiguration classroom a few seconds before the bell and I slumped in my seat.
"Nice shirt, Key." Tom's voice took me out of my thoughts. I looked up to see him standing in front of me. Suddenly, multiple people were staring at me as I were mad.
Finally, I looked down and groaned. My shirts buttons were misplaced so a large amount of cleavage was revealed. Dorea gasped and threw her bag at me.
"How did I not notice that earlier?" She squeaked, giving me an apologetic look as I used her bag as a shield.
"Don't be such a pervert, Riddle." Charlus scowled after a while, finally taking his eyes off of me once I finished fixing my shirt.
"I'm the pervert, please." Tom scoffed, before looking at me with an evil glint in his eyes. He wouldn't.
"That's what I said." Charlus responded with a smirk, he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Did you notice the pervert that threw himself at your girlfriend during the Spring Ball?" Tom said, a grin lighting up his face. Charlus stood up angrily before looking at me with confusion, he wasn't sure if Tom was being truthful.
"You dared to touch her?" He roared with anger. Charlus must have assumed that Tom was the one. I looked around, wondering where Professor Dumbledore could be.
"It's funny, isn't it, Key? Your own boyfriend doesn't even remember forcing himself on you?" Tom chuckled humorously, winking at me. Charlus turned to me and gave me an annoyed look.
"What is he talking about, Dahlia?" I looked down at my hands, not wanting to answer.
"Are you daft? I just told you!" Tom laughed again and then Charlus pushed him into the wall with his wand at his throat.
"Tom." Abraxas spoke up from behind me. I turned in my seat to face him and hoped that he would try to get the two to stop.
"Stand down, Tom." Arcturus said as well, calling Tom out and taking Abraxas' side. This only made Tom chuckle and continue on. The boys shrugged at me helplessly and I looked over at Matt who was dozing off. Really, Matt?
