In honor of our win against the Hufflepuffs in quidditch, Gryffindor decided to throw a party. It wasn't the most interesting game we've ever played but we were able to practice a lot of plays in order to get ready for the championship against Slytherin that we knew was coming.

The party hadn't started yet because no one had gotten the food. Since I didn't really care for parties, and I knew where the kitchens were, I offered to help them out.

Every year, for the quidditch championship, Gryffindor faces off with Slytherin. Sometimes we'd bring home the win, but other times we would lose. If we lost, the entire Gryffindor house would spend a week in silence, or well at least the quidditch players. But if we saw anyone having fun such as throwing a party, they'd be thrown into the forbidden forest for the night.

Quidditch was taken quite seriously here at Hogwarts, nothing compared to how it had been at Beauxbaton. I never really payed attention to quidditch last year because I wasn't on the team. Now, I knew the stress that had been placed on the entire team as they walked into the championship last year. Sadly, we had lost. Hopefully this year, there would be a different turn out.

Dan had sent me a letter earlier in the week telling me that if Gryffindor made it to the championship, like it definitely would, he would come out to support me. He also wrote to me about how he had big news to share and couldn't do it over a simple letter. This applied even more pressure on my back, along with getting ready for finals, which was barely three months away.

At the moment, Dorea and I were on our way out to the kitchens because I dragged her along with me. She didn't seem to mind and happily skipped through the corridor, pulling me behind her. On our walk down, we talked about our relationships and how she began to really like Matt. Although the their relationship was unusual and I didn't approve of it, I still made encouraging comments in the appropriate places.

Dorea suddenly halted in her tracks, cussing me to run into her back.

"Ow-" I grumbled but was cut off by her hand. She had her other hand covering her own mouth. What was she- oh. The sounds of two people having sex came from an dark classroom. I gagged, thinking about how disgusting it was that they would be doing it in a classroom. How desperate could a person get?

I pulled Dorea away from the classroom entrance, seeing as she began sneaking closer to see who it was. On the rest of the way to the kitchens, I scolded her for being so disgusting. She listened to me lecture her about privacy and rolled her eyes when I finished.

"Let's just get the food, maybe they'll be done by the time we get back." Dorea commented, but there was no way I was walking back down that corridor. Hearing someone having sex was unpleasant and made me very uncomfortable. Knowing that Dorea was still a virgin, she probably felt the same way.

We silently agreed to go back to the Gryffindor common room a different way than what we had used to get to the kitchens. Platters of food and drinks followed after us, levitating in the air only a few feet away.

Once the food reached the common room, the party had started. Thankfully, before we got the food, I was able to shower and change into jeans and a navy blue, long sleeve v-neck. Dorea, however, was wearing a slutty dress that revealed an enormous amount of skin and heels that looked painful. I didn't judge her fashion sense, no matter how much I wanted to, because I knew that if I hadn't had a quidditch game, I would have dressed similarly. Maybe not as revealing, but somewhat close to what she was wearing.

There was music blasting from the center of the room, people surrounding the sound so they could dance. Thanks to the silencing charm that I had put over the common room, no one from the outside would be able to hear our party. This was good because the amount of alcohol we had would get us into huge trouble, seeing as we wouldn't have anywhere to hide it. I noticed that Charlus and a few other members of the team were having a drinking contest. That wasn't irregular at all when we would have a party after a win. What surprised me most, was the fact that Matt wasn't with them.
