Finally, summer had come to an end and it was the start of my sixth year. The nerves running through me were only there because I knew Dan wouldn't be there. Recently, he and Lauren decided to travel around the world. They wanted to experience as much as possible and create memories together.
This must of been their second year dating and anyone could tell just by looking at them, that they were in love. I couldn't be jealous of their relationship because, I too, was in love. Although I could envy the fact that they didn't need to hide it. A sigh escaped my lips and I decided that I should probably be making my way to the train station.
My parents both wouldn't be there to wave me off so I had to get one of the house elves to apparate me and send me to King's Cross. When I arrived, I took my time walking through the barrier, seeing as I was almost and hour early. My luggage was soon loaded onto the train and I decided to find an empty compartment.
I started near the front of the train and made my way down to look for anyone I might know. I was already in the third car and I hadn't found a single person. For some reason, I didn't give up, I continued on u til I reached the last compartment of the fourth car.
My head popped in to see if anyone was in there and I smiled when I saw Tom. He was sitting alone, book in his hand, and he was reading intently. I slid into the compartment and took a seat across from him.
"Your here early." He said, not bothering to glance up at me. Although this bothered me, I couldn't keep the smile off of my face.
"Well, my parents weren't going to wave me off and Dan is out of town." I stated, explaining where my family was. At the sound of my voice, Tom's head snapped up in surprise.
"I thought you were someone else!" This immediately made me feel better because if he had known it was me in the beginning, he would have payed a lot more attention. He pulled me onto his lap and embraced me in a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around him and bit my lip, trying to hide the smile forming on my face because of the position we were in. Currently, I was straddling his waist. My fingers tugged lightly on his hair and he released me from the hug, but still held onto me.
"How have you been?" I asked him, twirling his wavy hair in my fingers. He smiled his charming smile and answered.
"Quite horrible, actually. Now that your here it will be better." He waved his wand and the compartment locked the door and the blinds were drawn.
"I missed you." I said honestly. It was true, I missed him terribly. He hadn't written to me very much and I hadn't seen him since my birthday.
Instead of responding, Tom pulls me into a kiss. Our lips moved together perfectly as if we were synchronized dancers performing a dance. We moved in harmony and I could feel my body being lifted off of Tom and laid against the seat. Our positions had reversed very quickly, now he was the one straddling me. Tom ran his fingers through my hair, messing up the sloppy bun that my hair consisted of.
A knock sounded at the door. We broke apart, panting and went silent.
"It's full." Tom's voice said in a demanding tone, implying for whoever was at the door to go away.
"Tom, it's Abraxas, Sebastian, and Arcturus." I soon realized Tom would let them in so I sat up and tried straightening my appearance before Tom opened the door. However, I was not quick enough to fix my hair that Tom had tugged into many different directions during our kiss, which made the three boys infer that they had interrupted something.
