Falling for them all

Familiarity

I ran as fast as could to vinny's church. I could care less how much my legs burned. I would not stop until I saw them. I have the chance to see them again. I wont lose this chance. I could see the church and I ran even faster and headed towards the back. I grabbed the handle and slammed it open. I rushed in and saw everyone startled by my sudden appearance.  I stood there panting heavily as I saw everyone. Vincent. Cameron. Alex. Evan. Luke. They were all here. I fell to my knees just as Mark and James arrived.

"Gienelle? what's wrong?" said Cam worriedly

I hugged him tightly and began to cry which startled him.

" what happened?" Vincent asked James

"I'm not sure. she was asleep and when she woke up she asked where everyone was and ran out the door." replied James

"Gienelle. calm down and tell us what's wrong." said Evan

I took deep breathes and let go of Cam then got up to hug Evan. He hugged me back but I could feel his concern for me.

"Nothing is wrong. I just missed you all." I said letting go of him

"not that we don't appreciate the gesture but considering we saw you a few hours ago, I sorta doubt you ran here even though you have wings just to slam open a door and break down crying" said Luke

"I agree. talk to us Gen" said Evan

"you asked me if this was a dream. Why?" asked Mark

"..I... I wanted to make sure I truly had you back" I said slowly

"had me back? you never lost me." he said

I shook my head "I did. I lost you... Cam...Vinny........even....even Alex

"what are you talking about?" asked Vincent

"I saw you guys die." my hands shook "the war began and I was stressed out." I tried to control my shaking as I spoke. "I-I wished to go back to when I had all of you by my side again.. then I woke up. I woke up to James back when he still had his poker face."

Everyone was silent. They looked at each other unsure how to respond. Vincent looked at me concerned and was about to say something. 

"Vinny don't you dare look at me like that. I know it wasn't a nightmare. I know it wasn't." I said

"well its just I know things have been stressful lately and I was just starting to wonder... maybe this is too much for you." he replied

"I'll prove to you I wasn't dreaming....somehow" I said

Cam sighed "Gen. please"

"I know I am nothing but the person that decides who rules to everyone. I know my role as the colored jewel. I know we are forced to love each other but I genuinely care about you all. I don't want to lose precious friends...." I paused and realized I had forgotten someone. two someones actually. "Where's Savi and Gabe?"

"why are you suddenly bringing them up?" asked Alex

"they should be here." I said

"we don't want to involve any humans. So I don't understand why you'd expect them to be here." said James

"but...they aren't humans... you.. you guys forgot?" I said

they looked surprised.

"forgot? we never knew.... are you sure about this?" said Evan

"I-Im absolutely sure" I said

They looked at each other again then nodded.

"lets go find them" said cam

I nodded. my heart was pounding but I had to prove I wasn't dreaming somehow.
