Falling for them all

Jealousy

I couldn't stop thinking about Cam. He was so kind to me yesterday. I also kept thinking about his beautiful gray eyes. I was spacing out in my homeroom class that I didn't notice Savi calling me. I look at her at and blush because I was a bit embarrassed that i was thinking about him. She was sitting on my desk looking at me. Savi looked concerned and said "You ok?"

I replied "Yeah I was just thinking about something"

Savi was going to say something but the bell rang and Mr.Gonzales told everyone to sit in a seat. After everyone sat down he cleared his throat and said "We have a new student joining us today."

I wasn't really interested so I put my head down. The new student came in and introduced himself "Nice to meet you all! My name is Cameron."

My head shot up when I heard that. It was the same Cam from yesterday with a smile on his face. He was looking over the class and all the girls were admiring him. His eyes stopped at me then he looked over in Savi's direction. He walked over to me and sat down next to me. I could feel everyone's envious stares and Savi's hateful one. He looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back and said "So you go to our school now?"

He nodded and said "I guess it's fate."

I laughed and asked "Do you want to hang out with us at lunch?"

"Sure."

I decided to ask for his schedule and see what classes he has. I was surprised to find that he is also in my English and History class. Funny that History is next and English is before lunch.

My English teacher ironically made me partner up with Cam to help him with our current project, so he ended up being assigned to sit next to me. Cam was getting confused so I had to explain in detail. When the bell for lunch rang, a couple of girls came up to him and asked if he wanted to hang out. I was fully prepared for him to go and ditch me, but to my surprise he turned them down. As we walked down the hallway to go meet up with Savi and Gabe, I saw Alex walking our way with girls surrounding him. I stop walking, turn towards Cam and ask "Can we go walk down another way?"

He turned his head towards Alex then back to me and replied "Nope I think going to help out my new friend."

I looked up at him surprised. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and whispered "Just stay like this for a little while."

His breath tickled my ear and I could feel my face grow hot. Alex saw us and looked annoyed. He said goodbye to his fan club and walked over to us. He was glaring at Cam as he spoke "Who is he?"

I opened my mouth to speak but before I could Cam said "I'm Cam. I'm also Gienelle's napping buddy."

I could feel my face grow even hotter and Cam huged me tighter. Alex looked confused and rerepeated "Napping buddy?"

Cam nodded "That's right. When I sleep with her in my arms I have the best dreams and sleep soundly. Gienelle feels the same way because after I had her in my arms, she fell asleep almost instantly."

Alex was speechless for a few seconds then said "You're just harassing her aren't you. Gienelle just say the word and I'll take him off you."

Cam and Alex were both looking at me. I saw Savi and Gabe round the corner and they were obviously looking for me. When they saw me, I gave them a 'come help me' look and they ran over.

Savi spoke first "My my my. What do we have here."

Gabe came up and replies "A new couple and a perhaps jealous third party."

Alex lightly blushed and said "Whose jealous!?"

Cam said "Yeah, because you don't make it obvious. Hm, I wonder. Do we really look like a couple? Maybe we should consider actually going out huh Gienelle? "

He looked me straight in the eye and I was left speechless. Alex looked ready to explode and said "Like anyone would date someone like you."

Savi and Gabe just stood there enjoying the show. After that I decided to finally speak up and said "Alex just stop. Cam just likes to mess around with people. I thought you would realize that by now. Cam if you were seriously considering dating me then I'll think about it."

For a moment everyone was silent, even Savi who was usually so talkative. Cam smiled gently and said "I was joking at first, but if you're willing to take it seriously then please think about. I would be honored to have you as my girlfriend."

A shadow fell over Alex's face and he stormed off without saying anything. Cam never let go of me and buried his face in my neck. I guess Savi and Gabe felt uncomfortable because they left with a quick goodbye.

Cam kept mumbling something into my neck, but he told me to just ignore him and let him enjoy my warmth. I was pretty sure my face was beet red by the time he let me go. When the bell rang he put a strand of my hair behind my ear and he kissed my forehead. His usual smiling face was serious and he said "I'll be waiting patiently for a favorable answer from you."
