Falling for them all

War

I awoke to the slam of the door. I rub my eyes to see that I'm still in James arms.

"Luke?" said James with a yawn

"James where's Evan?" said Luke

"I don't know" replied James

I sat up and saw Mark and Alex kneeling on the floor covered in blood.

"What happened!?" I yell and startled James

"Its a war zone out there. Its a good thing it doesn't affect humans yet" Answered Mark

I ran over to them and check their wounds. I reflexively touch their shoulders and close my eyes. Blue light filled the room and I let go of their shoulders. I open my eyes and see the cuts and bruises are gone.

"How did you do that?" asked Alex

"Well she is part angel" said James rubbing his eyes

"Half angel and half demon. So apparently I'm a demon." said Alex

"I guess so but I hate that you got involved in all this." I said

"I know seeing your brother get hurt isnt-" he started

I interrupted and said "No... it's because.... you were my fist love"

Alex looked at me surprised and the others looked highly uncomfortable. I knew what I was doing saying this in front of everyone but I had to tell him at least once. Who knew when I would have a moment alone with him.

"Why didn't you ever tell me. I loved you this whole time but I thought you still saw me as a brother." he said then pulled me into a hug

"You were always surrounded by other girls that I thought I couldn't compete." I say huging him tightly

"I'm sorry" he whispered

I saw Mark from the corner of my eye and he look lonely. I let go of Alex and went to hug Mark.

"Mark thanks for always being there for me when I needed you." I said then kissed his forehead

"Gienelle I'll always be there for you" he said

I got up and Saw Evan and Luke discussing something. I was curious about what. I began to head over to them but James had wrapped his arms around me.

"Please be careful about what you do" he whispered

"James" I say

He let me go and Luke had appeared in front of me.

"We have to move." said Luke

"Why? We just got here" said Alex

"They are going to find this place sooner or later and we have to leave before that" said Evan

"Where are we headed?" I say

"Your two friends are waiting for us at Hell's gateway." said Luke

"Alright then lets go" I say and head for the door

"Wait! Here!" said Evan handing me a black shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

I look down and see my tattered white dress that was completely see through. Luckily it had a lot of dirt and blood to cover me. I went into the bathroom and quickly changed into the outfit. After I was done we headed toward Hell's gateway.
