Falling for them all

Vincent

The first place I thought of was Vinny's church. I flew as fast as I could. I landed in front of the double doors and reached for the handle. I stop when an ominous feeling slithered down my back. I hid my wings and opened the doors. Candles lit the room and people filled the seat. I didn't want to be seen so I walked around the edges. Vinny was at the alter and it was clear that he knew I was there. I don't think he noticed the reapers though. They were hiding on the roof of the church in the shadows. I pointed up and he nodded in recognition. I climb up the stairs that lead to Vinney's office. I opened one of the windows and climbed up to the roof.

I opened one of the roof's windows and made my way to the reapers without being seen. I used hell's fire to kill two reapers in the nearest corner. The other two reapers were too focused on Vinney. Before I could set them on fire the knocked over all the candles. The fire flew onto Vinney's robe and set him on fire.

"Vinney!" I scream

The reapers noticed me and charged at me. I spread my wings and flew towards Vinney. The reapers tackled me to the ground. People were rushing out the door in a panic. I struggle to get out of their grasp. I could hear Vincent yell in pain as he tried to put himself out. I burn the reapers hands and drag Vincent to the fountain. The reapers fled, leaving us in the burning building.

"Vinney! Come on! We need to get you out of here!" I yell

"G-gienelle.... ju-just go" his voice came out ragged

"No way!" I say and try to drag him out

"Yo-you'll al-ways be... my l-little sis." he stammered

"Stop talking like you're dying!" I said as tears fell down my face.

"I-I kn-know that you-you'll make the choice th-that makes y-you happy." he tried

The building began to crumble behind us. I began to feel tired but didn't stop dragging him. No way was he dying along with Cam. Not on my watch.

"Vinney, You're going to be alright." I tell him

He didn't reply and it worried me. I stopped and looked at him and his eyes were flickering shut.

"Vinney! Stay here with me! Don't leave me alone!" I cried

"You..... aren't ...... alone" he said before slowly closing his eyes

"Vinney!" I sobbed into his chest

"Gen" I heard someone say as they placed their hand on my shoulder

I look up to see Evan,Luke and James. Evan had his hand on my shoulder. I rushed over and hugged Luke. He pet my head as I sobbed into his shirt.

"C-cam a-and vinney are d-dead!" I said through my tears

"Wait Cam is dead too?" said James

"D-demons got him" I say

"Let's go get Mark and Alex." said Evan

I nodded but was glued to Luke's chest. It was so comforting being in his arms but it wasn't enough for me to calm down.
