Falling for them all

Hell's Gateway

We had only just arived when I  saw my two best friends waiting for us. Upon seeing us, Savi and Gabe had ran up and trapped me into a death hug.

"So What's the plan?" I asked after they let me go.

"Not here. Come on this way" said Savi dragging me away

We went around the back of the building and went in the back door. I could hear loud music just beyond one of the doors. Savi and Gabe lead us to what seemed to be a basement. There was an old looking couch in the center of the room so I sat down.

"Won't someone come down here?" asked Alex as he sat to my left

"Nobody has been down here in over a year besides a few 'friends' and I." said Savi leaning against a table

"You troublemakers finally came in handy" said Gabe who sat on top of the table

"Why you-" Savi began with clenched fist

"Calm down. We need to focus." said James as he sat to my right

Luke nodded "He's right. Since we have many enemies at the moment, We will be found sooner or later"

"Though I'd prefer later" mumbled Mark sitting on the floor in front of me

"So what's the plan?" asked Evan

"Right, so what we need to do is have them all in one spot" said Gabe

"Why?" asked Alex

"I think I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to get them to fight each other until they're weak. Then that's when we attack! Am I right?" said Luke

"Exactly" confirmed Savi

"I see. So we have to split up into groups and lure them all to a certain location" added James

"But for this to work, we need bate and I'm guessing I'm it" I say

"Sorry but you're the target" said Gabe

"Evan and Gabe will lead the Demons. Luke and I will lead the Reapers. Alex and Mark will lead the Angels. Gienelle and James will be waiting in the woods where the only open space is." said Savi

"Alright!" exclaimed Mark

"Everyone understands their place right?" said Gabe

We all nod and stand up. We begin to walk out but I was pulled back. I turn to see Mark.

"What is it Mark?" I asked confused

"I just wanted to do something before I lost another chance" he said

"Do wha-" I began but was interrupted by Mark's lips pressed against mine

His lips linger a few more seconds while I'm too shocked to do anything. He pulls away when they call our names. He smiled at me.

"I've always loved you and I'd do anything to keep you safe" he said before joining the others

I quickly followed and we all spread our wings.

"Good luck and be careful out there." I say

"Same to you Gen" smiled Evan

"Always be ready" said Alex

"Remember what I said" Mark said

"What you said?" questioned Gabe

"I'll tell you later!" I say taking off

I saw everyone head to different directions and James on my trail.
