Falling for them all

time heals all wounds

My mind raced with questions and I became unaware of my surroundings. I felt someone tug my arm and I screamed but a hand covered my mouth. I turn to see an upset Luke.

"Not quite the response I had expected" he said "what are you doing out here? You'll get Mr. Reaper and Angel angry if they find out you're out here alone especially now with me here"

"I was-...I thought-..." I stumbled for words

Luke embraced me and whispered "shhhh its OK. Listen you're just still reeling from everything that's happened. I'm sorry I contributed to that. I shouldn't have done what I did. For that....I am truly sorry."

His words were soft, kind and soothing but I couldn't help but be tense as my mind was attempting to wrap around what just happened. What's going on? I have no clue what so ever.

"Hey are you ok?" He said lifting my chin to look at him in the eye.

"Y-yeah... I'm fine. Just needed fresh air, you know?" I managed to say

He looked at me as if searching for answers that could only my found in my eyes. I said nothing as he did and then he sighed possibly knowing I wasn't telling him something. He nodded as he flew us down back towards the cave.

"Don't take on everything on your own Ginelle" said Luke before walking in

I sighed and walked in after him. I was staring at the ground as I walked inside. Why didn't I tell him? Wouldn't they believe me more than anyone? They're not human and neither am I. Then again they might think I'm going crazy from stress or something. Who knows maybe I am.

"Ginelle...... Ginelle!" Yelled Savi which startled me.

"Wh-what? You didn't need to yell" I said looking at her

Savi looked at me and said "You were off in wonderland when I was calling you. Are you ok?"

I nodded and put on a playful smile "sorry I was just lost in thought. I'm fine. You guys worry too much"

Evan said "I don't think we worry enough"

"Enough. Let Ginelle relax. She should eat something." Said James

"I made fish" smiled Gabe sweetly at me

I nodded "alright"

We sat together but only Evan, Savi, and I ate. We had a small chat about nothing in particular. It reminded me of how I used to live my life. I wish I could go back to the days I knew them all. Alive and well. My necklace glowed and I closed my eyes happily.
