I walked into the Ministry, even Mr. Weasley was gone, which compromised my position heavily. Where did all the Weasleys go all of a sudden? I quickly left, taking all my bugs with me before going home, when I opened the door I found Fred sitting on the couch.

"How the hell did you get in here?!" I shouted as I closed the door behind me.

"I duplicated your key a month ago in case of emergencies," Fred shrugged.

"Give it back, give back the key right now!" I shouted at him.

Fred got up and dug into his pocket and tossed it to me, "I'm sorry that I wanted to make sure my best friend is safe."

I huffed and nodded, "sorry. But you all disappeared and just...where did you all go?" I whispered.

Fred shook his head, "somewhere safe. My father is with us, my mother as well, we're all fine."

"What're you doing here?"

"I wasn't going to leave without a word to you," Fred smiled.

"That makes one of you," I muttered darkly.

"George tried to, but he was stopped by some bloke you work with."

"Fantastic."

"Kayley."

"So first I finally figure out something that has been driving you and George up a wall for years now and when I go to confess everything, I find George kissing Alicia and now....Now you're leaving me?!" I looked over at Fred as all my anger spilled over and I couldn't take it anymore.

Fred looked taken aback as he frowned, "I'm not leaving you."

"Then why come to tell me you're gone?!"

"Because I didn't want to hurt you. George tried telling you but that failed so here I am."

I huffed and nodded, "sorry. I suppose leaving is a good idea, they're monitoring your family after all."

"How do you know?"

"I saw the file," I shrugged, "I was infiltrating the Ministry...no matter how poor of a job I did."

Fred nodded and tried to pull me into a hug, "you'll be safe won't you?"

"I don't know," I shrugged and gave a feeble smile. "Are you going to leave then?"

"I came here to tell you that I'm not abandoning you, but I have to go...mum will flip if I don't return shortly."

I nodded, pulling my legs in to my chest. Feeling the familiar sting of loneliness nag at me, Fred pulled me into a tight hug and kissed the top of my head. "Still come to the meetings, I don't know if I can sneak out much to see you."

"I'll try," I nodded.

Fred looked unconvinced, he knew me as well I did, and we both know that if I have to be around George currently I'll avoid it. But we didn't speak the truth, we lied and said good bye, Fred promising to stay safe.

"Last thing," Fred paused at the door, "is there ever a chance you'll talk to George again?"

I shook my head, "if he didn't mean it then he should be able to prove it."

"Thought that's what he was doing," Fred commented with a raised eyebrow.

"If he proved it, I'd believe it," I said quietly. Fred nodded and left without another word.

I sat on the couch and leaned my head on the cushions pulling my knees to me, I was alone yet again. The very familiar feeling came and ate away at me, I let it in without a second thought. What point was there in denying how alone I was? I looked at the picture of my aunt on the coffee table and kicked it to the ground. It was all her fault, all her stupid promises of everything being alright, all her promises that I would never get hurt....I hated her. I glared at the broken pieces of glass on the floor and cleaned it up, getting cuts on my hands several times. I washed away the blood and put peroxide on my hands and took more of my medicine.
