Warning: this is book clearly fictional. I am not a professional nor an expert to the love department. I'm just basing the protagonists' beliefs and opinions so...ENJOY. :D

We cannot live ourselves to childish  fantasies. We are not in Disney, for crying out loud.

At some point in our lives, we need to grow up. Let's face the reality here: that such romance you read in books are merely fantasies of people that they themselves knew wouldn't experience in the real world. It's one way of feeding their frustrations and desires because they know that happily ever afters and Prince Charming are only 2-Dimensional characters or even, just words.

And with some magic words and poetic description of a perfect moment, you became hopeful. You believe that maybe-just maybe- there is someone out there for us who would give us the tingles in our stomach, the smiles in our sleep, and that perfect moment you've always wanted. One may experience it  but with a short amount of time and then what?

Dear, you're only fed up with lies, fantasies and unrealistic romance. You want to know the truth? I'll tell you:

True Love is merely an illusion because nothing is eternal.

Nothing lasts forever.

"I can't read any further. This is is shit, Psyche." Ms. Jessica slammed the unpublished article on her table, startling Psyche.

"Which part?" Psyche asked.

"Everything. I gave you a week to give me a topic on the reality of romance-"

"I did. The Ugly Truth of Romance by Psycynic." Psyched pointed out and in a proud manner.

"I already made two risks of publishing your articles,Psyche. Marriage and that Compatibility article. I can not and will not risk another one again."

"What's wrong with this one anyway? I think its genius."

Jessica exhaled, slowly walking around Psyche while reading the article. "Let's face the reality here: that such romance you read in books are merely fantasies of people that themselves knew they wouldn't experience. It's one way of feeding their frustrations because they know that happily ever afters and Prince Charming are only 2-Dimensional characters or even, just words."

Psyche crossed her arms together. "Romantic novelists are partially blamed for feeding fantasy to those poor, naive people."

"And you used Disney! Are you trying to destroy those precious thoughts of children?"

"At least, they would know how reality would be. Making them prepare for it." Psyche murmured.

"Psyche-"

"Look, Cinderella married the Prince because she wanted to get away with her stepmother. True Love's kiss is bogus-Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are worst role models to children.  And Ariel? She disobeyed her father just to go to that guy she never knew? If she existed in the real world, she would have been a freak show in the circus. Or worse, a sex slave."

"It's more than that, Psyche." Jessica stated, tiredly.

"What's more than that? It's a fictional book, for crying out loud!"

"Are you trying to destroy this newspaper's name because of your cynical nature?"

"Never have I ever had that kind of intention. This is the only news writing company that ever accepted me-which you're working here." Psyche said to her aunt.

"If you want this job, Psyche McGee, you better do a hell of a good job on your next assignment!" Jessica slammed the article down the table again, startling Psyche. "I'm giving you a month. A month!"
