"What's wrong, Psyche?" Wendy asked her right after she gobbled down her salad.
"I'm fine. It's my fiance' there who's wrong. He hasn't been talking to me this morning." She said and soon realize that she used fiance' instead of Eros. Have I gotten used to this now? Oh no.
"You two had a fight again?"
"I don't know. Well, that little spat when he saw me talking with Adonis but we were okay after that. I guess."
"Maybe he was still bothered about that."
Looking at him at him from the distance, Psyche wondered what could have possible made him act this way. He's acting normal, talking enthusiastically to Diesel and to Robert. Was there something I said last night? What did I said last night? I couldn't remember anything. Although I do remember I was floating and lied down on something soft. E very thing was hazy-the room was spinning in my head.
And I thought of Eros that time and I could feel an ache on my chest. A heavy feeling and all of a sudden, I felt my face heating up.
She played with her salad as she tried to rewind abut the events. Why was my face heating up anyway? I also remembered, I heard someone talking-but I hear gibberish words though. Tsk. I couldn't get what that person said.
Then I felt something on my lips. Soft and yet rough-like it was needing something. But it felt good and I felt that I don't want it to stop. It was warm and safe.
Like I always feel when I'm around him.
"Psyche!" The call of her name has awoken her from her thoughts and realize that she wasn't breathing. "Are you okay?" Wendy asked.
"Yeah. I was just...thinking what could have happened last night." She said and ended with a smile.
"I see. By the way, can you come with me?"
"Where?"
"You see, today's our anniversary. And I wanted to surprise Robert tonight."
"Really? That's nice. What do you want me for?"
"Well, I notice you got some great fashion sense. Maybe you could help me find the perfect dress for tonight's dinner? I really want it to be special since today's the last day and all."
Psyche smiled at Wendy. "Of course. I definitely would love to help you."
"Great! Let's go!" She sprung up in a second and grabbed Psyche out of the dining hall.
"Wait! Wait! Shouldn't you ask Robert first?"
Wendy waved her hand. "I already asked him. I know you'd say yes anyway."
She laughed at this and proceed to follow her out of the hall.
"I am amazed at this huge room!" Wendy exclaimed, letting her eyes wander around Psyche's bedroom as she waited for Psyche to finish dressing up."I've always thought that Eros was from a well-off family."
"Well, he is."
"Where did he went to high school anyway?"
"Wellington High."
"Isn't that a school for rich people?" Wendy asked her, walking towards Psyche.
"Oh? You've heard?"
"Of course. My cousin actually studied there. And she always tells me about the wealthy people there. Not only rich-prominent ones too."
"You're right and they also have stuck up personalities."
Wendy gave out an agreeable chuckle. "Stuck up is right. Hey, can I ask you something?"
This time fixing her hair, "Aren't you asking already?"
"Well, this one's-how should I say this. This is more like asking for an advice.
"In what?"
"Having an sensational, memorable and highly-orgasmic experience."
Psyche looked at Wendy as she was looking almost like a tomato. "You mean, how to have great sex?" The sudden question took her surprisingly. "Why-why are you asking me?"
"I always thought that you and Eros are always have that exciting ways. Whenever I look at you both, you have these petty fights and then sweet the next. It's like having a spicy entree' and ends with a very sweet delectable delicacy after." She then smiled, very young and innocent. "You two look so in love with each other."
Oh god. Psyche thought. At that moment, looking at Wendy, all red and flushed, she wanted to tell her everything-that she and Eros were fake. And that everything she has been doing was for the sake of her career. Would that changed her views on her if that's the case? No. I don't think Wendy s that kind of person.
But just as she had gathered up the courage to tell her everything, the doorbell rang. Volunteering, Wendy rushed towards the door and was surprised t see a tall woman with a Latina looks n a caramel one sleeveless dress that embraced every part of her curves down until her thighs.
"Oh." The tall woman was surprise herself to see a little pixie inside the room. "And who are you?"
"I'm Wendy. And who are you?" She asked back, looking at her firm head to toe.
"Who's that anyway?" Psyche asked from the inside.
"She may have gotten the wrong room number." Wendy answered. Wasn't she the one with Eros at one time?
"Uh, I think you're n the wrong room number. I'm looking for Eros."
"He's not here." Psyche sad, her eyes focus intensely on the Latina beauty. Her voice was serious and low. There was silence between the two and Wendy, watching the two felt an atmosphere between the two: heated and intense.
"I see. Where is he anyway? He sad we'd meet today."
"I don't know. She answered in a quick notion. And again, there was silence between them.
"He may be with you but I know he s still head over heels with me so you're obviously just a rebound. So watch your tone with me, Missy."
"And you're obviously delusional that he still is, Carmen because he doesn't to begin with. And don;t come to me as if you are a million, darling. Show me something more than just your 2 carat diamond ring and enhanced breasts and hips-to add it up."
"You couldn't even afford even if you try to sell yourself."
"As if you could afford things." She ended the discussion walking past her but she took a pause and turned around to look at her. "By the way, you have lipstick on your teeth." She turned around again, pleasure to see Carmen, shocked and red, covering her mouth with her hand while Wendy closed the door, carefully as she can and hurriedly went after Psyche.
"Why is it that there's always tension between you two?"
"I just love screwing with her that's all." Psyche shot her a grin. "Forget about her. Let's became man-eaters tonight."
