By the time dusk came, they have already arrived at the resort. Far off the distance, they saw a man standing by the entrance and Psyche was able to recognize him.
"Adonis?" Psyche approached him.
Adonis turned around and smiled the moment he laid sight on Psyche. "Hi."
"What are you doing here? Are you looking for someone?"
"Actually yes. I was looking for you." He told her.
Psyche smiled at this. "Why is that?" She asked and that moment Eros stood beside her. She looked up at him looking at Adonis. He placed his arms around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him.
"Yeah. Why are you looking for my fiance'?" Eros demanded him. Adonis looked At him, a bit stunned at the demand of his voice. But then, he slowly made a smile and looked back at Psyche.
"Well, I just came by to deliver some fruits and passed by the entrance since I couldn't find you anywhere. I figured maybe you went out."
"And you're right. Strong intuition you got there." She told him, offering a warm smile.
"Now you already see her we have to go. We're tired from the trip." He pulled Psyche along with him.
"I'I'm sorry!" She called out to him. "You don't have to be so rude to him." She scolded Eros and tried to wriggle out of his arms but he wouldn't let her go.
"Obviously that man has a thing for you." He said, gripping her close to him.
"What?"
"Can't you be so slow, Psyche? That man likes you." Finally he let her go. Psyche sighed and glared at him with her arms crossed together.
Wendy and Robert awkwardly watched them. "We're just going...to leave...you. Come on, hon." Robert said, pulling Wendy away from the two, obviously wanting to witness the drama the two created.
"How would you know anyway?" Psyche began.
"Men knows other men, Psyche. We know what other men wants and knows how we could get them."
She rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Of course. Male species."
"And I'm telling you that he likes you. Because...I see the way he looks at you is the same...as...well-as..."
"Don't try to come up with some male logic, Eros. You're obviously jealous."
"Well-"
"Stop doing this, Eros. I'm not a play thing. I'm not your plaything. Not now, not ever." She began to walk out but Eros grabbed her arm, turning her around to face him.
"When did you ever become my plaything?" He asked, utterly confused. But Psyche didn't give him a reply instead, jerk her arms away from Eros and continued to walk from him.
Nobody spoke to each other while they were at their room. Eros looked at Psyche as he fixed his robe as he prepared himself for the next activity which a Couples' Massage. He wanted to do this at least to loosen the tension that they were having between them.
"Psyche?" He called her out.
"What is it?" She replied from the other side of the room. He sighed and let out a little smile. At least I know now, things are a little fine. " Nothing much. I just want to know if you're done."
"Yeah. I'll be over in a minute."
"Okay." He replied as he patiently waited for her. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang and Eros volunteered to answer it. When he open the door, he was surprised to see Wendy and Robert outside their room. They were grinning as they held up two bottles of wine and some alcoholic drinks.
