Psyche was indecisive on what to wear for the night. She looked at her top 3 choices: a white bohemian dress with some aztech patterns by the edges or the brown maxi dress with some floral designs or a blue tunic.

It's a dinner event so maybe something a bit more formal perhaps? She thought. At last, she picked the white bohemian dress with long sleeves. She paired it with a long necklace with a dream catcher pendant and had her arms filled with some accessories too. Finally, she wore that leather  sandals with some colorful beads. She smiled at the mirror, liking what she's wearing. But the smile drastically turned to a frown the moment she thought of Eros. He's not going to like this. As usual.

She remembered Eros doesn't usually make comments about what she wore. He wouldn't care if she used to wear baggy shorts and dirty sneakers back in elementary while other girls wear ruffle pink skirts or shiny black shoes. He didn't even made a comment when she began to color a strand of her hair in a green dye as they started middle school nor even made a fuzz about her bohemian skirts and flower crown. Not even did he made a comment when they reached high school.

But of course, he started ignoring me when we started high school. She remembered they used to go to school together way way back but things changed when they entered high school. That was the time when his popularity has gotten stronger and his circle of friends changed. He didn't include Psyche in his circle of friends. She wasn't cool enough to become a cool kid. They called her weird and old fashioned and Eros only laughed with them, not even bothering to defend her.

And then that night happened.

"I'm done." She said, heading towards the living room where Eros was waiting for her. He was already in his attire-navy black designer polo shirt with white chino shorts and leather brown shoes. He was wearing his gold Rolex watch at his left arm-adding him class and wealth-the way he likes it. And Psyche admits that he really looks handsome-no matter what he wears.

If only he wasn't being an asshole.

"Shall we go?" Psyche proceed to the door but Eros called her.

"Wait, Psyche."

She turned around, slouching, already expecting something from him. "What you don't like it?"

"It's okay. You look good." He said, calmly, looking at what she was wearing. Oh. He's being nice tonight.

"Excuse me?" She asked, not believing what she just heard.

"I said you look good. You just need to keep you hair. Why don't you braid it sideways?" He suggested which completely all the more, surprised Psyche. "I'm serious." He said, seeing Psyche's reaction.

"Y-y-yeah. Okay." She said, walking passed him. She went to the showers and began braiding her hair sideways. I think he's just being guilty about last night, she thought. As she was done braiding, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled-she did look way better with side braids.

"Let's go?" Eros told her the moment he saw her walking out of the room.

"Yep."

Both of them went out of the boat and head towards the area where the other couples are seated. The event was said to take place in another near island, as what Wendy explained to them.

"Wow." Psyche said, looking around the garden area. It was like a temple with its Greek pillars and thin trees and large bushes. There were statues of Greek gods at the sides with fire pits beside them. There was no roof covering the beautiful night sky that was filled with thousands of stars. "This is amazing."

"Yeah. It is. Come on, Wendy's waving at us." Eros said, grabbing Psyche's hand and held it firmly.

"That's a nice dress." Wendy commented Psyche's attire the moment they sat beside them.
