Saying things to a woman can be quite a tricky thing. You'd never could tell if it would compliment her or insult her.
Atleast, that's in Eros' case.
And even though Wendy looked amazing, it was quite a wonder why he only saw a blue-green hair braided with flowers dressed in a lacey white maxi that shows a lot of her sun kissed skin.
"So? You'd like it?" Wendy smiled as she walk towards Robert and softly twirled around to let her dress fly a little.
"I-I-uh--w-" Robert stuttered, repeatedly looking up and down at Wendy.
"How do I look?" She threw his arms around him.
"Like a goddess." He finally managed to say, wrapping his arms on her waist, feeling her delicate skin of her back.Wendy softly smiled and planted a kiss on his lips.
"She looks amazing, doesn't she?"
Psyche smiled, standing side by side with Eros.
"Hm? Mmm." Eros nodded.
"She really wants to look amazing for him."
"Mmm."
"And she did. She really did. And look how she made Robert speechless." She said and gave a soft chuckle.
"Mmm."
"Are you okay?" She asked, noticing how he's giving only little replies.
"Hm? Mmmm."
"Huh?"
He cleared as if it would gain back his confidence. "I'm fine."
"Doesn't she look amazing, Eros?" Wendy asked which Psyche started to warn her. But she ignored her. "Doesn't she?"
"Too much skin." He said, avrrting his eyes away.
"Well, I think you look amazing, Psyche." Robert smiled.
"Thanks, Robert." She smiled back and frowned at Eros as she passed by him.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" A voice boomed the room and everyone looked at the tall Greek man by the stage. "I welcome you all to our last day of our Couples Retreat."
Last day. Psyche melancholy thought. Time goes by really fast indeed. And I haven't even made progress yet.
"I hope you all had a wonderful time in this retreat..." Paulos continued, "I hope that in those days we were able to rekindle the fire in your love..."
Psyche looked around the room and watched how the couples really listened attentively to Paulos and agrees to every word he was saying. Wow. They look so dreamy. Holding hands with their partners, looking so in love. Maybe, it still exist. That that kind of love still exist.
If you let it be.
"Please join our hands together for the ladies who started all of these, Beatrice Harrington and Helena McGee!!!" Paulos raised his hands towards them and the people stood up and cheered. Psyche let out a chuckle and stood up too. She was quite proud of them, able to achieve these things and managed to believe in the power of love.
"Thank you. Thank you." Beatrice said, waving at the people.
"She looks amazing." Wendy whispered at Psyche. "Both of them."
"Thank you for such a wonderful message, Paulos. Seeing from the look of your faces, I say you also had a great time here and it delighted me even more. Us, rather. You see, our passion has always been helping people to hold on to the beauty of love. To make them believe that love is still a wonderful thing that even though trials and bad circumstances may happened, they can still hold on to that. That's what inspire us to have these kinds of events."
