By the time it was morning, she opened her eyelids slowly and had her eyes scan her surroundings. She didn't move even an inch, her body was still immobile from sleep. She closed her eyes again, feeling the sheets with her hands and the softness of the pillow before realizing that she has awoken at the other side of the bed.
Her eyes went wide open like a jolt. Did I do something weird while I was asleep? She sat up and began to rubbed her eyes and let her mind wander for a bit. Did I?
"Morning, sleepyhead." Eros greeted her as he passed by the bed, already has taken a shower and already in his blue shirt and white chino shorts and some leather sandals. Her eyes followed him as he went to the living area and noticed that there was something new about him.
She got off the bed and slowly took a peek at Eros who seems to be texting with his phone. She retreated back and let out a little smile as she envisioned Eros being casual that day. Rather having his shirts tucked-in, he let it loose. His hair was usually perfect kept hairstyle but then, he let it ruffled.
"What are you doing?" She jolted when Eros saw her spacing out.
"I was just--what's up?"
"What's-up?" He angled his head to the side, confused.
"Yeah. You're being "loose" today. It's unlike you."
"Oh. Do I look bad?"
"Since when did you look bad?"
Eros had the sides of his lip went up as he gave a chuckle. "I just went to be casual right now. I was thinking maybe you might want to get out and explore the island."
This time, it was Psyche who got confused. "Right now? But, don't we have an class to attend to? We've been missing it."
"Oh, never mind it. We're missing it, why just let it be? Go get change. Let's call Wendy and Robert too." He left her with her mouth slightly opened.
The perfect Eros who doesn't want to miss a simple agenda has finally decided to ditch class and roam around? Who is this man and what has he done to Eros? She thought to herself. But, who is she to complain? This is what she has always wanted. But why now? What is he trying to pull?
"Shall we call Wendy and Robert?" She began to ask him as she approached the living area. He looked at her, head to toe. She followed his eyes and looked down towards her clothes: a simple white rolled long sleeves shirt, a denim jeans that has she obviously customized with some colorful designs and some small black tussles and matched it with some leather sandals.
"Are those tussles?" He pointed out the black thing hanging at the edge of her shorts.
She followed his finger down to her shorts. "Hm? Oh yeah. I added them. I thought it could be fun." She grinned at him, and shook her hips to let him see the tussles sway. "This is okay, right? I'm wearing a decent shirt anyway."
"What made you decide to go 'decent' today?" He crossed his arms, amused.
"I'm happy...? I guess." She pouted before flashing him with another grin. "Although, you lack something."
He looked down on his clothes then back to Psyche. "What?"
She moved closer to him, slowly unbuttoning the second button of his shirt. It revealed his bare chest and she tried her best not to let out an exhale. She could smell his scent-luscious and expensive as she patted his shoulder then on his chest and moved back against him, taking a good look of him. "There. You look great. Let's go?"
He watched her skipped towards the door and couldn't help himself from smiling. I did good.
"We've always wanted to explore. We're just glad you invited us." Wendy said, trying her best not to be giddy as they sailed together towards the Skopelos island. After almost 2 hours, they could already see it-the port, the buildings, the houses, hundreds of people and its landscape.
