The last time Psyche danced was for an academic purpose and that was it. Gym class somehow turned to a dance class by the time it was 2 weeks before prom. Everyone was expected to learn how to dance-even though Salsa was not really needed for that prom night but rather for that teacher's selfish interests to see his students dancing his favorite dance.
After showering, she slipped on her Lacey black swing dress with moon designs. It was the only dress she brought that could go with a Salsa dancing. She turned around slowly before doing another turn yet this time, fast and playful. She watched how the skirt twirled with her movements and she decided that she was ready.
"I'm ready." She said as she went out of the room and into the living room where Eros was rolling up the sleeves of his dark blue polo, showing of his masculine arms. She admired him at some point that he could dressed very well-his dark polo shirt, white pants with a leather belt and paired them with leather shoes and he always look good with them.
Like some dark mist sipping in her mind as she watch him roll up the other sleeves, she wondered things behind those clothing. Okay, stop. We get his attractive but please get over yourself and get it together. She scolded herself.
She gave a loud clear of her throat to get his attention and she succeeded. He looked at her in the middle of his rolling and stared at her face first before trailing down and up back towards her face.
"What?" She asked, feeling conscious of her attire.
He cleared his throat before he finished rolling his sleeves up. "You have nice shoes."
She looked down to her wedgies, the only she heels she loved to wear that she personally accessorize the strap around the ankle it with colorful beads of turquoise, oranges and purples to match with the earth tone leather strap. She wriggled her toes as she grinned back towards Eros, "Oh you like them? I personally add the beads to make it more fun."
He looked down towards her foot wearing a platonic face, "That's so you."
"Thanks. You look great." She smiled sincerely. "As always."
Eros looked at her and blinked twice before having a slight curve at the corner of his lips. "You think so?"
She rolled her eyes, smiling. "As if you don't know. You knew you were always attractive."
"So, you find me attractive?" This time, he was grinning at her and it caught her off guard.
"Uh-I...wasn't-" She tried to make excuses but her mind is failing her.
"No need to deny, weirdo. I've always known." He said before walking away from the room with a big grin on his face.
"Damn it." She said under her breath and followed him out.
Even from afar, Eros and Psyche could hear the music and the cheers of the people. Somehow this excites Psyche. It's been long since she had a dancing class.
"Ahh! They are here!" Wendy exclaimed the moment she saw them enter. She run towards them and gave them each a friendly hug before dragging them towards Robert who was dancing along with the music.
"Hey! Isn't this wonderful?" Robert asked as the time moving his hips along with the music.
"It's very exciting." Eros said, looking around the dance floor.
"Let's dance!" Wendy shouted and grooved with her fiance'. Psyche chuckled as she watched them from the sides. The music began to get to her, making her sway her hips slightly and nodding her head. She enjoyed watching everybody-old couples, young, interracial, homosexuals-she loves the vibe that everyone was showing because they themselves were enjoying too.
