She was already finish by dawn and she let her eyes close before readying herself the manuscript to Jessica. By the time she woke up, it was already 5 in the afternoon.

"Shit!" She had a quick wash of her face and brushed off her teeth before rushed towards the office in order to catch the 6:00 PM deadline.

As soon as she arrived, she searched for Jessica who was at a meeting. She waved at her, jumped a couple of times to distract her. It worked alright.

"I'm not late. I arrived 10 minutes before the deadline." She said the moment Jessica entered her office.

"I know. I perfectly saw you." Jessica told her.  She opened her palm at Psyche for the article. "This better be good."

Psyche watch Jessica with worry.

She hasn't been talking for at least 10 minutes ever since she began reading the article.

"So?"

Jessica placed down the article and starred at her niece for a few seconds before letting out a smile and said, "Brilliant. It's brilliant, Psyche."

With that compliment, Psyche finally leaned on the chair and sigh, contented and happy. "Oh my god. Thrill much?"

Her aunt chuckled and looked at her niece, proudly. "Finally Psyche. You-you finally let go."

"I know. Like I really didn't realize how heavy this feeling is for a long time until I had a talk with mom." She confessed.

Her aunt was greatly surprised. "You talked with Lillian? Seriously?"

Psyche nodded. "It was on the phone but we really had a talk and there was no hate or anger. I told her everything I've been feeling for years and she apologized to me. She was crying and I was crying and we're both crying. I wish I could've done it personally." She paused. "I could've embrace her,"

"Well, it's never too late. You could always visit her. Visit her family-have dinner together. It'll be fun." Jessica smiled warmly.

"Yeah. I'll be going to her son's 5th birthday party next week. I guess it'll be fun."

"How about Rafael?"

"Well, I haven't given him a call but I think I'm ready to talk to him. Mom said she'll be there when get to do the talking. Oh my god-we're going to cry again."

Jessica went to Psyche and held her hand. "I'm happy and proud of you."

Psyche returned a smile. "Thank you."

"Okay! I need to submit this and this would be in tomorrow's article. This is going to be great!" Jessica grinned and left the room.

Psyche could only chuckle.

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" Corbelia embrace Psyche as soon as she saw her walked out the Jessica's office.

"Yeah. I think I did a pretty good job."

"Wow. You were able to do your assignment."

Psyche chuckled. "Yes. It was challenging but I really did reflect on something." Psyche looked at Cornelia. "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for?"

"For being an awesome friend."

Cornelia got teary eyed at her words. "I've always been."

"Yeah. You always were."

"Anyway, now that you've solve everything, what are you and Eros going to do tonight?"
