Wrap me up in a
Gown of thorns,
Close my eyes
And take back all of the lies,
Just show me someplace warm.
Because tonight, baby, I've been
So cold
Looking for your hand to hold.
I miss you
And I don't want to miss you tonight.
So even if I know it's wrong,
Telling myself I don't care
Would be a lie.
And for tonight, darling, I don't want to lie.
Let's fly away to
never-have-I-ever land
And prick our fingers on
Poisioned roses,
Kill me sweetly-
I always wanted to die
Among the forest ferns,
Maroon, velvety flowers
Tangled in my gown of
Regal tulle-
Queen of all
That could have been.
I have become an unfortunate cliche
